Kris Jenner Engagement Ring: Did ‘KUWTK’ Star Buy It Herself, Or Was A $2 Million Budget Given To Corey Gamble?

Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble are reportedly engaged, but apparently, it wasn’t Gamble’s money that bought the stunning diamond ring that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has been wearing for over one month. On December 16, an OK! Magazine source claimed Kris Jenner previously set a $2 million budget aside for Gamble to purchase Christmas gifts — and her engagement ring.

“[Kris Jenner] has given Corey a small $50k budget for family gifts and a separate much bigger budget of $500k to buy her presents,” the source said. In addition, claimed the source, Kris Jenner created a secret jewelry account worth $2 million.

“[Kris Jenner]’s always preferred things to be done her way and she’s told him she can’t see him affording an engagement ring worthy of her, so she’s going to top it up.”

According to the report, Kris Jenner, who has been dating Gamble for over a year, is “still very unsure of Corey’s taste in things.” So, rather than chance him getting her something she wouldn’t like, Kris Jenner reportedly took full control of the situation in hopes of getting exactly what her heart desired.

“[Kris Jenner] figures if she’s going to be wearing it, she might as well choose it too… [Kris Jenner] doesn’t trust him with such an important purchase.”

While OK! Magazine‘s report hinted that Kris Jenner and Gamble were already engaged, the couple remains silent in regard to the rumors. However, Kris Jenner’s massive diamond appears to be speaking for itself. For the last several weeks, Kris Jenner has been seen sporting the ring, and since it first surfaced, there doesn’t appear to be any photos of the mother of six not wearing the ring.

In other Kris Jenner news, the reality star recently purchased a $1.65 million condo in Westwood, California. According to Trulia, the home includes 2,524-square-feet of living space, and is expected to give the reality star some space from the demanding needs of her family.

“[Kris Jenner] really just needed another place of her own so that she could get away from the chaos that is going on right now at her house,” a source told Radar Online on December 16. “She also wanted a place closer to town for business meetings and such.”

Currently, Kris Jenner’s daughter, Kim, and her husband, Kanye West, are living in Kris Jenner’s Hidden Hills, California, home as they await construction on their home to be completed. In addition to the couple, Kris Jenner has also been joined by her grandchildren, North and Saint West, which has made for quite the full house.

Although Kris Jenner surely loves spending time with her family, she also needs to have alone time with her rumored fiance, Gamble, and hopefully, her new home will allow for just that.

Kris Jenner and Gamble began dating in 2014, one year after Kris Jenner and her former husband, Bruce Jenner, now known as Caitlyn, parted ways after more than two decades together. Since then, the couple has been hitting red carpets and enjoying shopping sprees around Los Angeles. They’ve also recently debuted their relationship on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

As for whether or not Kris Jenner’s possible engagement and future wedding to Gamble will be seen on the show, that has yet to be determined.
