Brandi Glanville Reacts To Taylor Armstrong’s Comments On Yolanda Foster’s Lyme Disease

Brandi Glanville has given her reaction to what Taylor Armstrong said about Yolanda Foster’s Lyme Disease during Ken Todd’s birthday party. In a statement to The Real Mr. Housewife, posted on Wednesday, Brandi said that Taylor’s comments about Yolanda’s illness came from desperation to be once again a starring cast member on the show.

“Taylor doesn’t even know Yolanda and is looking for the moment to get back on the show. It’s called desperation.”

Tuesday night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills showed Lisa Vanderpump throwing an English garden-themed tea party to celebrate her husband’s 70th birthday. While Yolanda wasn’t there, Taylor was. Seated next to Lisa Rinna, Taylor brought up Yolanda. Taylor expressed bewilderment over Yolanda’s illness. Taylor outright stated that she thinks Yolanda doesn’t really have Lyme Disease but something else.

“What’s going on with Yolanda? I’m sooo like confused. It seems strange to me that she’s like, happy selfie, sick selfie, happy selfie, sick selfie. And also like, I’m trying to follow her on Instagram but I don’t like seeing the whole needle in the arm thing all the time. It’s a little much….It seems like there’s a lot of back and forth. I don’t understand. Normally people just do some antibiotics, they move on but this to me, I’m smelling misdiagnoses.”

A visibly uncomfortable Lisa R. replied that Yolanda is exploring different avenues and that it’s best for Yolanda herself to explain her situation. In her interview, Lisa R. said that Taylor was overstepping boundaries with her questions and admitted that she was uncomfortable with discussing the topic.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Taylor Armstrong defended and explained herself in a blog post. Taylor wrote that Yolanda’s symptoms sounded similar to the symptoms that two of her family members, who were eventually diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis after being misdiagnosed for a long time, had. Taylor even revealed that she offered to connect Yolanda to a world-renowned diagnostic neurologist who is a friend of her husbands but Yolanda declined the help. Taylor added that she asked about Yolanda since she hadn’t seen her for a while and was confused why the other women at the party behaved as if Yolanda’s illness was a taboo subject.

Yolanda didn’t appreciate Taylor’s questioning of her illness. In her own blog post, Yolanda said that Taylor’s behavior was the result of ignorance and that she hopes Taylor never has to go through a chronic illness, lest she find herself being questioned by others.

Brandi Glanville’s statement that “Taylor doesn’t even know Yolanda” isn’t entirely true. While Taylor may not know Yolanda well, the two certainly know one another. Both were on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as starring housewives on its third season. Taylor has continued to pop up on the show every now and then on.

On season 3, Yolanda’s premiere season, Yolanda confronted Taylor during a party after hearing from the other women that Taylor was talking badly about her behind her back. Taylor denied it. In her interview, Taylor said that she did not want to get into it with Yolanda at that moment but did admit that she has some negative feelings because her friend, Linda Thompson, used to be married to Yolanda’s husband, David Foster.

At the party, Kyle Richards told Yolanda Foster about Taylor Foster’s connection to her. Yolanda told Kyle that Linda told David that she still loves him and wishes that they were still together. In a blog post after the episode aired, Yolanda criticized Taylor for talking badly about her despite not even really knowing her.

“Trash talk is poisonous and a bad habit! Maybe if Taylor had taken the time to have a coffee with me, she might have liked me before she wasted her precious time not liking me. I just realized she is now trying to make it about my husband. Geez, she doesn’t even know my husband so she is judging him on whatever his ex-wife has told her…Well Miss Taylor, remember there are always three sides to a story. His, hers, and the truth, so maybe get the other two-thirds of the story before you let your mouth run on someone you don’t even know!

Yolanda and David Foster announced on Tuesday, December 1, the day season 6 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills aired, that they are divorcing.
