Justin Bieber is closing out the year with a surprise. The superstar, and his new gold tooth (which doesn’t appear to be permanent), announced “Something special coming” in the caption of an Instagram video he shared Wednesday night.
The clip shows the coiffed pop prince recording himself showcasing a restrained shuffle-dance in a smart white shirt and black pants, which looks like it’s part of a suit. Nas’ 1996 hit “If I Ruled The World,” which features Lauryn Hill, can be heard playing.
The setting reveals others in the background, a white grand piano, and a glimpse of film paraphernalia. All of which prompts these questions: Was Bieber prepping a new ad or magazine shoot? Or, perhaps a music video, possibly for “Love Yourself,” or some other track from his critically acclaimed new album, Purpose?
In fact, the video above is the second of two Instagram clips Justin posted last night. In the first (reposted below), the 21-year-old danced for longer.
They weren’t the only videos the Biebs shared. Over on his Snapchat, the “Sorry” singer stoked up fans’ excitement, saying, “I got some big special news coming. I can’t tell you right now, but I can show you my gold tooth,” before mugging for the camera.
The “tooth” is seen on the right-hand side of Justin’s rack in the Snapchat videos.
Another part of the story shows the cryptic Canadian saying, “Oh, I haven’t slept in 24 hours. We’ve been working hard.”
An hour or so later, Justin posted two selfies on Instagram. One of which he captioned, “Great day,” alongside a typical brooding heartthrob pose.
The other snap reveals Bieber’s gold tooth located on the left-hand side of his mouth. So. it looks like the comeback kid hasn’t actually gone “gangsta,” but is just having fun with a removable cap.
Outside possibilities for Bieber’s surprise? It could be something to do with the Instagram tease which Drake’s dad — Dennis Graham, a longtime musician — shared on Wednesday.
Alongside a pic of himself and the singer, Dennis wrote, “We have a surprise coming soon stay tuned,” followed by a string of emojis.

Bearing in mind that Justin and Drake are buddies, and the younger artist previously said that he and Drake collaborated on Purpose, is the Biebs guesting on Drizzy’s forthcoming Views From the 6, seeing as the Purpose promise didn’t happen?
Meanwhile, in non-music Bieber news, more alleged details about the singer’s rumored May to December trysts with Kourtney Kardashian, 36, have emerged following initial reports.
According to Us Weekly magazine, the eldest sister of the Kardashian-Jenner clan has officially moved on from Scott Disick — her former flame of nine years and father of their three young children — after “The Lord” Disick was caught cavorting with his ex-girlfriend in the South of France in July.
While several outlets initially claimed the Biebs and Kourtney only started “hooking up” in October, Us Weekly claims the pair have been intimate for longer.
“Justin and Kourtney have been hooking up since late August, early September,” a source reportedly told the magazine.
Apparently, Disick isn’t happy that his ex-lover has ditched him, but knows he can’t say anything because he started the rot with his infidelity.
“Scott feels she’s doing this to get back at him and get revenge,” the insider told Us. “He feels he has to take it and can’t say anything after all he did to her, but he thinks it’s dumb and immature.”
A few days ago, Justin shared an Instagram of himself standing over a now identified mystery girl, which was thought to have been a dig at Disick because of the hitmaker’s “Lord Knows” caption, and mistaken media assumptions that the girl was Kourtney.
As it turned out, the female wasn’t the mother-of-three, but a model. And “Lord Knows” is the title of a 2011 Drake song from his Take Care album.
Any guesses on rumormill storylines after everyone gets an eyeful of the Biebs’ gold tooth?
