Pregnant Anne Hathaway Spotted Cradling Baby Bump In New York City, Anticipates ‘Loving My Children Quite Fiercely!’ [Video]

Anne Hathaway is looking radiant and reportedly loving every minute of her pregnancy. The Oscar winner was spotted on the streets of New York City recently, showing off her baby bump as she strolled with her parents. E! News recently confirmed that Anne is in her second trimester, and a source close to Hathaway revealed that Anne is “feeling great!”

Hathaway was seen shopping with her parents in the Big Apple and sported a grey button-down shirt that accentuated her pregnant belly. At one point, Anne and her mother laughed gleefully as they appeared to feel the baby kick. This will be Anne and husband Adam Shulman’s first child, and she’s clearly excited!

Anne Hathaway was also recently spotted stepping out with Shulman in Los Angeles, where the pregnant mother-to-be kept warm on a chilly evening in a cream winter coat paired with black slacks. Donning a chic pregnancy style, Anne joined her husband and friends for dinner at Los Angeles hot spot Barrel and Ashes, where her husband treated her to an adorable kiss on the forehead as he held her close, reports E! News.

Anne and Adam, a jewelry designer, married in 2012 after an 11-month engagement, and the actress reportedly has wanted to be a mother since she was a teen. Last year, according to the Daily Mail, Anne confessed that she “wanted to be a mother since I was 16 but I also just knew I wanted to have a career as well.”

Hathaway, 33, explained at the time that she’s now getting to an age where becoming pregnant is a priority. The actress confessed that after having a successful career in her 20s, “now I think that I’m getting to an age” when becoming pregnant is at the top of her list, adding that she did not “know exactly when that moment will be but I think I’m coming upon it.”

In a 2013 interview with Vogue, Hathaway emotionally revealed that she “think[s] about it all the time” and thought a lot about “the kind of mother I’ll be.” Anne explained at the time that the type of mother she will be “depends on the kind of children I have.”

“I can’t wait to meet them,” Hathaway confessed.

It won’t be long now that she’s pregnant!

In the same interview, Anne said that when she gets pregnant, she “anticipate[s] loving my children quite fiercely,” and since she was spotted cradling her belly while walking through the streets of New York City recently, it certainly seems she will!

Anne might take a break from acting when her baby is born, an insider revealed, according to theBelfast Telegraph. According to the source, Anne has been wanting a baby but “waited until the right time to take a break from Hollywood.” Hathaway “feels she’s achieved so much already, it’s time to take a break from acting.”

The insider also revealed that Hathaway has confirmed to “friends [that] she wants to put her career on the back burner for a while and concentrate on being a full-time mum.”

As far as baby weight, Anne reportedly isn’t worried too much about it, and she certainly looks great! The naturally slim actress is embracing the baby weight since she loves every minute of being pregnant. Hathaway reportedly “wants to be healthy,” of course, but her plans to take an acting break mean that Anne is “not putting herself under pressure to slim quickly,” the Belfast Telegraph reveals.

To stay healthy while she’s pregnant, Anne Hathaway is doing “yoga every day and eats mainly organic food.” The insider also said that the new mother-to-be is “tempted by bagels and doughnuts recently to combat morning sickness.” Congratulations Anne!
