Taylor Swift To Celebrate 26th Birthday With Calvin Harris Amid Breakup Rumors

It has definitely been a busy year for superstar Taylor Swift. She has just recently concluded her successful “1989 World Tour,” and all she wants right now is to spend her 26th birthday with her Scottish DJ boyfriend, Calvin Harris.

Swift will be celebrating her birthday on December 31, and according to Hollywood Life, the singer just wants to stay in bed with Harris, 31. The two hardly had time for each other since both of them are busy with their respective careers. Swift has been traveling nonstop as part of her world tour while Harris has been performing at Jingle Ball concerts around the U.S.

“Calvin and Taylor have hardly seen each other since she began her 1989 World Tour, so they want to make up for lost time,” a source revealed.

“As for birthday plans, that’s actually being played by ear. Calvin was thinking of having a little get-together with her friends in LA, but that all depends on how she feels after a long flight back from Australia. But, the two do want to spend the next week in bed together because they’ve really missed being a couple, and really missed their intimacy with one another,” the source added.

The news, however, came amid reports that the couple have split. Harris recently switched his Instagram account to private after he got tired of comments by fans who commented they would rather see Swift with her ex-boyfriend Harry Styles. Others even said they would rather see the “Bad Blood” singer date model Karlie Kloss, 23.

It seems that Harris gets jealous over the mere mention of the former One Direction member. Apparently, Taylor Swift liked a Tumblr post that called 21-year-old Styles “immature,” which angered the 1D member’s fans. According to an insider, Calvin Harris just wants Swift to stop thinking about her ex’s lives and move on.

The DJ is said to have stepped away from his playboy ways and is currently focusing on his relationship with the pop star, the insider said.

“He doesn’t like when she mentions her exes; he wants her to not talk about them even if it is throwing shade at them. He wants her to be totally devoted to him. He gets jealous thinking that she still may have feelings for people like Harry or others she has dated. It’s upsetting to him.”

However, the rumors about Calvin Harris being jealous are not true, says Gossip Cop, so Taylor Swift will surely be celebrating her birthday with her boyfriend. Recent rumors have claimed that Swift is renting out Hamilton Island and will fly her closest friends and family to Australia for her party. Reporters also allege that a second birthday party will take place when she gets back to the U.S.

Despite breakup reports, their relationship is going strong, and rumors suggest the music-loving couple is bound to get married soon. However, the pop singer denied it a few months back.

One thing’s for sure – their relationship is getting serious.

“It’s going absolutely fantastic,” Harris said in July, describing his relationship with Swift. “It’s boxes I didn’t even know existed, she ticks. It’s really ridiculous… She’s generally an incredible cook and human being.”

The two were first romantically linked in March, and their relationship has grown serious since then, spending plenty of quality time together. Last month, the couple was seen hanging out with friends Jason Statham and Rosey Huntington-Whiteley. In October, Harris proved he is a solid Swiftie when he attended one of her concerts.

Needless to say, Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift are still together and will certainly celebrate her birthday in each other’s arms.
