How To Watch ‘Jill & Jessa: Counting On’ Live Online: Start Time, Streaming Video Information For TLC’s Duggar Family Special

Viewers who want to watch Jill & Jessa: Counting On live online will be in luck, with a few different options available to watch the Duggar family special through streaming video.

Sunday’s special will be the first time the Duggar family has returned to TLC with new content since the scandals regarding Josh Duggar hit the news. The first revelation came early on in the year, with news that Josh had molested a number of young girls in his teenage years, including his own sisters.

Then, just weeks later, Josh’s name was on the leaked list for the website Ashley Madison, which promotes cheating among married partners. From there the scandal snowballed, with two different adult film stars stepping forward to claim that Josh had paid them for sex.

Now, fans will get a chance to catch up with the Duggar family and see how they have been dealing with both the scandals and the addition of two new babies with Jill and Jessa.

Jill & Jessa: Counting On will premiere Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on TLC, and will also be available live online through streaming video (instructions on how to find it are below).

Those who watch the Duggar family special live online will get to see firsthand how Josh’s scandal impacted the family. Early clips released by TLC show Josh’s siblings referring to the scandals as “the first stuff” and “the second thing.”

“After everything started to settle down from the first release of stuff in the news about Josh, we got word of a second thing that we had no clue about,” said John-David (via USA Today). “That was a little more of a shock probably than the first stuff coming out.”

Joseph said the family had no idea that Josh Duggar was hiding a secret life, implying that his actions were a betrayal to all of them and to their Christian faith.

“I don’t think there’s any way any of us would have known that my brother was living such a secret life,” says Joseph. “It broke my heart. Whenever somebody you respect the most is willing to get up and proclaim what we believe as Christians, about being true to your wife, you’d never think that that’s the person who’s involved in it.”

Josh Duggar ended up leaving his wife and young children to attend an intensive, faith-based rehab in Illinois. Viewers who watch Jill & Jessa: Counting On live online will get to see his wife Anna publicly address the scandal for the first time. A clip showed her wiping away tears as she talked about the heartache of learning about Josh’s infidelity.

Though there had been reports that Anna Duggar was considering divorce, it now appears that she and Josh are committed to working out their issues. A report from Entertainment Tonight, one that came out after the Duggar family special had already completed filming, claims that Josh and Anna have been exchanging love letters. Anna also reportedly has plans to visit Josh again around Christmas time, bringing the kids along with her.

The Duggar family special won’t be all about Josh and his sex scandal, however. The previews also showed clips about Jessa’s pregnancy and her difficult birth, including audio of the 911 call her mother Michelle made. Jessa was in labor for close to two full days, Cosmopolitan noted, and ended up having to go to the hospital afterward due to blood loss.

Viewers who want to watch Jill & Jessa: Counting On live online will have a few options. There are services like Slingbox, which allows viewers to watch television live from any device, but is really only a feasible option for people who have this service in the first place. There are also a number of sites that offer free streaming of TLC (Stream2Watch is one), but they may not be legal in all places.

The other option for viewers who want to watch Jill & Jessa: Counting On online may be to wait until TLC posts the program online.
