‘RHONY’ Star Ramona Singer Reportedy Thrown Out Of A Party, Plus Is Bethenny Frankel Already Demanding A Raise?

Real Housewives of New York City star Ramona Singer can’t seem to escape drama, even when the show is on a break. In fact, according to OK! Magazine, the reality star was recently kicked out of a party after defending a random drunk who tried to make moves on some of her fellow co-stars. Is this a new low for the reality star?

Apparently, Singer was having a wild night in the city with her fellow co-stars Sonja Morgan and LuAnn de Lesseps when the group decided to go to a party being held by John Mahdessian, Dorinda Medley’s boyfriend. The party was located at Mahdessian’s local business, Madame Paulette, and started off innocently enough until one man’s drunken tirades proved to take a turn for the worse.

Although the man’s identity remains unknown, he started to make drunken comments toward Singer and Morgan. This led to Mahdessian sticking up for the women and trying to get the man to leave the party. At the same time, Singer defended the outspoken guest despite Mahdessian’s clear disapproval.

Eventually, Mahdessian had enough of the two and kicked them both out of his party. “People applauded, and Mahdessian declared, ‘I took out the grime!” one witness told Page Six.

The unknown man who started the raucous is thought to be an ex-boyfriend of de Lesseps, though his identity has yet to be confirmed. At the same time, other attendees at the event who witnessed the incident unfold included Daniel Joory and Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin.

Meanwhile, Ramona Singer’s drunken antics aren’t the only news surfacing about a member of The Real Housewives of New York. According to The Hollywood Gossip, Bethenny Frankel is now demanding more money from Bravo for her appearance on the hit reality series.

“Before filming began for the Real Housewives of New York City, Bethenny demanded a huge pay increase,” an insider explained to the outlet. “She had initially asked for $2 million, which would have been double her salary from last season.”

In the end, Frankel was able to negotiate a salary of $1.5 million for what amounts to three months of employment. Frankel was previously paid $1 million for her return to the series last season. Although Frankel did not convince the network to grant all of her wishes, an increase on the order of $500,000 is fairly significant, especially considering that the show only films for three months at a time.

In addition to her increase in pay, Frankel is now ready to expand her career and is seeking even more roles in Hollywood in order to keep the money flowing. Considering how well she negotiated her new contract with Bravo execs, she may very well get what she wants.

“Bethenny is ready to take over television, and become the next Ellen DeGeneres,” the insider continued to explain. “She is a savvy businesswoman and was prepared to walk away from the series once again.”

Perhaps the most interesting part of Frankel’s new salary is how her co-stars will react to her raise, especially given how their salaries don’t even come close to what Frankel is pulling down. According to the source, her co-stars were “furious” at the news of Frankel’s raise. Given Singer’s recent embarrassing actions, the drama is certain to ramp up in the upcoming season of the hit reality show.

The eighth season of the Real Housewives of New York City is expected to premiere sometime in early 2016, though an exact date has not been set. Until then, there’s really no telling how much drama the cast members of the hit reality series may stir up.
