Michelle Rodriguez Pulls A Miley And Shows Off Her Armpit Hair

Michelle Rodriguez is one of the few women in Hollywood who doesn’t care about a little armpit hair. In fact, she’s proud of it.

The Fast & Furious star shocked her 2.2 million followers when she shared a photo of one of her hairy armpits.

Rodriguez took to Instagram to share the photo along with the caption, “Grew out my armpit hairs gotta love it… Hmmm yum [sic].”

Some of Michelle’s fan kind of dug the new look. One fan wrote, “You’re still bomb,” according to the Daily Mail.

But there were some fans who weren’t too keen on seeing armpit hair on their timeline. One user wrote, “ewww that’s gross I wouldn’t do that,” while another added, “I love this celebrity but please never do this to me.”

While there was a lot of disagreement with Michelle Rodriguez’s decision to grow her own underarm hair, many of her fans came to her defense, according to an Ace Showbiz report.

One user remarked, “The amount of people who have a problem with this is ridiculous,” while another user added, “Its not a guy only or a girl only thing. Hair grows for a reason… and all that people who are ewwing this gtfo of here with your unnecessary comments.”

The 37-year-old actress is currently filming the action flick Tomboy, a Revenger’s Tale before she heads back to the studio to reprise her role as Lettie “Ortiz” Toretto in Fast & Furious 8, which is set for release in 2017.

It’s safe to say that Michelle Rodriguez isn’t the only famous woman who’s rocked hairy armpits in the year 2015. Earlier this month, Miley Cyrus posed naked and licked her hairy armpit for a NSFW Candy magazine photo shoot taken by controversial photographer Terry Richardson. The “Wrecking Ball” singer not only posed naked for the magazine’s nine covers, but she also posed with various sexy toys, drugs, and any other X-rated object you can think of. Miley even posed completely naked with her cat on the cover.

Over the summer was when Miley Cyrus shocked the world with her hairy armpits. Not only did she show them off in a series of Instagram posts, but she also dyed them various colors.

Madonna is another well-known woman who doesn’t care about rocking a little armpit hair. In fact, she was probably one of the first to show it off on Instagram, like Julia Roberts was one of the first to show hers off on the red carpet. On March 20, 2014, she showed off her hair in a shocking Instagram post. The Queen of Pop wore nothing but a black lace bra and a black bow tie.

She captioned the snapshot, “Long hair…..Don’t care!!!!!! #artforfreedom #rebelheart #revolutionoflove.”

The “Rebel Heart” singer also went against the grain when she was younger. Madonna told Harper’s Bazaar in 2011 that she wanted herself to stand out among the girls who wore makeup and dresses.

“[G]oing to high school, I saw how popular girls had to behave to get the boys. I knew I couldn’t fit into that. So I decided to do the opposite. I refused to wear makeup, to have a hairstyle. I refused to shave. I had hairy armpits.

“The boys in my school would make fun of me. ‘Hairy monster.’ You know, things like that,” she said, adding: “Straight men did not find me attractive. I think they were scared of me because I was different. I’ve always asked, ‘Why? Why do I have to do that? Why do I have to look this way? Why do I have to dress this way? Why do I have to behave this way?'”

And back in 1985, both Penthouse and Playboy released nude photos of Madonna when she rocked hairy armpits. But people were more disgusted than proud that she even showed body hair in the sexy photos.

Both Miley Cyrus and Madonna have received praise for showing off their armpit hair, as previously reported via the Inquisitr. Times certainly have changed from the ’80s, when women were mocked for not shaving their armpit hair. Now it’s okay for celebrities such as Michelle Rodriguez to show off their hairy armpits without as much ridicule, even with online trolls.
