Texas Mom Found Naked Eating Ice Cream After Leaving Kids Alone in Wrecked Car


A Texas mom was eating ice cream naked in a Houston drug store when police officers found her three children let unattended in a car she had just allegedly crashed on Friday afternoon. Stephanie Dillard, 34, was charged with child endangerment after allegedly wrecking into a Houston Metro bus, according to KPRC News. The children suffered minor injuries and law enforcement officers report the youths, ages 5,12 and 16 were “shaken up” after the car crash.

The 5-year-old child received a large gash over one eye as a result of the bus collision. The New York Daily News reports it was 93 degrees in Houston the day the children were left along in the car after the accident. Dillard appeared to be uninjured from the accident.

Houston police detective stated during KPRC interview excerpts republished by Fox News that Dillard left her car after crashing into the Houston Metro bus and just simply walked away from the accident and her children. Dillard wound up at a nearby CVS drug store where she began removing her clothing as she at an ice cream treat. Dillard allegedly “put up a fight” when police officers attempted to place her in handcuffs. After police officers arrested their naked mother, the children were turned over to the custody of their grandmother.

Police detectives have not yet determined the cause of Dillard’s “strange behavior” after the accident. Dillard is currently being held on a $2,000 bond in Harris County. The Houston mom’s past criminal history includes a robbery charge in 208. according to CBS News.
