Jennifer Aniston’s Dad Wants Her To Make A Cameo On ‘Days Of Our Lives’

Jennifer Aniston has warmed the hearts of millions of fans ever since she played the part of Rachel Green on the 1990s sitcom Friends. After her time on Friends, Aniston went on to major movie stardom and has become one of the most beloved female actresses of the early 21st century.

So, what would make such a successful television and movie star like Jennifer Aniston appear on a soap opera? Maybe if dear old dad asked her to do a cameo. Jennifer Aniston’s father, John Aniston, has played the part of Victor Kiriakis on Days of Our Lives for twenty-nine years, and the show is coming up on its fiftieth anniversary. John Aniston told Glamour they worked together once on Search for Tomorrow, when Jennifer was 13- or 14-years-old.

“We sort of worked together on Search for Tomorrow. She was an extra. She was 13 or 14 years old. I had her down at the studio one day and Jane Krakowski was on the show and Jennifer was in the green room and met Jane and they were talking.”

As for doing it now, he thinks it would be cute to have her on Days of Our Lives. He talks of having her as part of Victor’s staff, but admits that he’s not sure it would work.

“No. But, yeah, [it would be cute]. There’s elusion to Victor’s staff… Yeah, she could, but all we have is the butler. And you never see the butler.”

But early on, before Friends, E! reports that Jennifer Aniston appeared on a very short-lived TV show called Molloy alongside Mayim Bialik, known in the 1990s for her show, Blossom, and these days as the adorable Amy Farrah Fowler on The Big Bang Theory.

Bialik recently posted a very old photo on her Twitter account of her and Jennifer Aniston. The caption to the post says it all.

Unfortunately, fans don’t get these kinds of throwback posts from Jennifer Aniston because she has no social media accounts. But her new husband, Justin Theroux, recently signed up for Instagram and posted a selfie.

Maybe he decided to live a little bit on the wild side after nearly dying on his honeymoon with Jennifer Aniston.

E! reports that while taking scuba diving lessons on their honeymoon, Theroux realized he was almost out of oxygen. He had to approach his instructor twice before the situation was dealt with. That instructor would surely have felt extra terrible if he caused the death of Jennifer Aniston’s new husband.

As for Jennifer Aniston, it’s not likely fans will see her signing up for Instagram any time soon. People revealed back in September that Kate Hudson tried to convince Aniston to get on Instagram, but she said she tried managing Living Proof’s Instagram account for one day, and it stressed her out.

“I was so stressed out, sweating bullets. It was too much pressure.”

Jennifer Aniston also admitted that she doesn’t like how social media is affecting kids these days.

“Kids aren’t speaking to each other anymore. I was with friends of ours from Vermont and their two kids don’t have an iPhone or an iPad. They were 9 and 12 and were the most interesting young adults. Seeing other kids on their [phones] all the time, it makes me sad.”

Kudos to Jennifer Aniston for sticking to her guns, even if it fans are sad to not see her on Instagram. At least they still get to see Aniston doing what she does best – gracing the big screen.
