Caitlyn Jenner Demanding Transgender Bathroom At Country Club?

Caitlyn Jenner is allegedly so uncomfortable at her country club that she is now demanding the facility create a transgender bathroom/changing room so that she can use that instead of the men’s or women’s locker rooms.

According to In Touch Weekly via Wet Paint, Cailtyn Jenner has been busy advocating for the LGBT community and now her cause is hitting close to home. Formerly known as Bruce Jenner, gold medal winning athlete and the step-dad to the Kardashian kids and father of Kendall and Kylie Jenner, she transitioned fully earlier this year and stepped out as Caitlyn Jenner. Jenner even won the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the 2015 Espy Awards for bringing a spotlight to the transgender community. Now, Caitlyn reportedly wants to use that cause to help out her own situation at her favorite country club.

“Bruce was an avid golfer at Sherwood Country Club before he transitioned,” an insider revealed. Shortly after Bruce Jenner became Caitlyn Jenner, there was a lot of talk about where Caitlyn would fit in at the club, including using the all male bar, dining room, and locker room areas. The club reportedly told Caitlyn to use whichever facilities she felt comfortable in, but Jenner allegedly didn’t like using the men’s or women’s changing areas. Now, sources reveal that it looks like the club is adapting for the transgender community.

However, Gossip Cop reports that the rumors of Caitlyn Jenner demanding her own transgender changing room/bathroom are totally false. A rep for the I Am Cait star told the website that the gossip is “B.S.” and that the country club will not be installing a transgender bathroom any time soon, and that Jenner never made any demands to have one built.

Meanwhile, Caitlyn Jenner has been making waves in the transgender community with all the work she’s been doing. In addition to winning the Arthur Ashe Courage Award, she was also recently named Glamour‘s Woman Of The Year and was on the short list to be Time Magazine‘s Person of the year with presidential candidate Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin, and members of the terrorist group ISIS.

In 2015 alone, Caitlyn Jenner has put a celebrity face to the transgender community. Through her work on the streets and with family members appearing on her own reality TV show, I Am Cait, along with her countless public appearances, Caitlyn has quickly become a role model for transgender people everywhere. Jenner opened up to Time Magazine about her struggle to come out.

“I would sit in church and think, in God’s eyes, how does he see me? Am I doing okay with this life? And after talking to my pastor and telling him my whole story, I kind of had a revelation that maybe, at this point in my life, this is why God put me on this earth. Maybe it is time to speak on this issue. I was getting destroyed in the rags, every week walking through the grocery lines there’s some BS story. Never talked to them once. But maybe, maybe out of all the things I’ve done in my life, this could be by far the biggest thing I’ve ever done, to be able to live my authentic self and make a difference in the world, you know? And I thought, what an honor. What a life, to be able to reinvent yourself like that. And I am not a spokesperson for the trans community, I am not. The media kind of projects me as being the spokesperson, but from my standpoint, I am not. I am a spokesperson for my story and that’s all I can tell. And hopefully by telling my story, I can make people think.”
