‘RHOA’ Star NeNe Leakes Slams ‘The View’ Co-Hosts Raven-Symoné And Joy Behar, Wants To Return To Bravo

Following an awkward interview on The View, Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes has finally commented on everything that took place during her time on the show. According to E! Online, Leakes recently sat down with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live and admitted that some of hosts on The View had been extremely rude to her.

Specifically, Leakes stated that both Joy Behar and Raven-Symoné had been particularly hurtful during the interview.

“Well, I didn’t see any of those ladies that’s on the panel until I actually walked on the panel. And I felt like they were not kind to me. I just… honestly, they weren’t kind. It’s not even ‘felt like,'” Leakes explained.

Cohen followed this response by asking Leakes if it was only Behar who seemed to be giving her a hard time during the interview.

“It was more than Behar,” Leakes admitted. “Now, Behar was definitely throwing a lot of shade, but there was someone else on the panel that threw shade as well, as far as looking me up and down. Now, we were live, so as far as what the cameras shot or showed, I don’t know. It didn’t show everything. But I could tell you that there were a couple of people on that panel who were very shady.”

The rude comments started when Behar stated that Leakes’ jewelry had probably hurt her shoulder as she made her way to the interviewing table. Behar followed this up by digging into Leakes’ divorce with her husband Gregg and sarcastically commented on how modest the reality star appeared on the show.

“No wonder you’re friends with Donald Trump,” Behar remarked.

NeNe Leakes went on to reveal that Raven-Symoné was the other person who was eyeing her “real nasty-like,” adding, “I didn’t like that, because look, first of all, I was invited to their show. I was there to promote Chicago and other things… And they just weren’t kind. They did not have nice manners. I know all of them are tired: their hairstyles are tired, their makeup is tired. Whatever.”

Leakes followed up her interview on The View by posting a candid message on Twitter.

“Just sat with a bunch of mean girls turning up their noses, looking u up & down as if u don’t belong. The HATE was so real & SAD,” wrote Leakes, who eventually deleted her post.

Meanwhile, in addition to her latest comments, it now appears as though Leakes may want to make a full return to the network. In fact, Leakes recently posted a message on Twitter that revealed she would be making an appearance on Watch What Happens Live. Is her appearance with Cohen an indication that the reality star is trying to make a return to Bravo?

According to Star Pulse, Leakes originally left The Real Housewives of Atlanta in order to pursue bigger opportunities in Hollywood. Apparently, Leakes had more offers from Hollywood executives than she could ever dream and was getting ready to expand her career.

That being said, given Leakes’ recent appearance on WWHL, many fans are now wondering if those Hollywood offers fell through and if Leakes is trying to return to the show.

Whatever ends up happening with Leakes and RHOA, her supporters are likely happy to know that she will be making an appearance in the coming season of the hit reality show. Although she is no longer a full-time cast member, Leakes joined her former co-stars while the show filmed in Jamaica. This vacation is expected to be aired at some point in the second half of the season.
