Miranda Lambert And Blake Shelton Aren’t Back Together, ‘Automatic’ Singer Not Hoping For Reunion

Miranda Lambert may be living the single life after calling off her four-year marriage to Blake Shelton earlier this year, but that doesn’t mean the “Automatic” singer is hoping for a reunion with ex-husband Shelton in the near future.

Miranda and Blake have kept mum regarding the reason behind their abrupt breakup, with sources close to Lambert and Shelton citing conflicting work schedules as the reason for the duo’s split, but it appears new rumors have surfaced suggesting that Miranda Lambert is eager for a reunion with Blake after seeing Shelton cozy up to new girlfriend Gwen Stefani.

According to a new tabloid claim, a source close to Lambert alleges that Miranda has become jealous over seeing Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani rub “their new love in her face,” and that Miranda has sent Blake “a flurry of texts in hopes of kicking off a reconciliation.”

The source goes on to refer to Lambert’s reunion efforts as “relentless,” and further claims that Blake Shelton has “no plans to reunite” with Miranda, given his new romance with fellow The Voice coach Gwen Stefani.

Despite the claims, Gossip Cop reports that the rumors suggesting Miranda Lambert is seeking reconciliation with Blake Shelton are “not true.”

The site argues that a verified source close to Miranda Lambert has spoken out against the reunion reports and further insists that Miranda is not bombarding Blake Shelton with “incessant texts” due to her “jealousy” over his new romance with Stefani.

The rumors come just one day after Miranda Lambert opened up about her views on marriage since divorcing Blake Shelton in an interview with Cosmopolitan for the magazine’s January, 2016, issue.

When asked if her feelings towards marriage have changed since splitting from Blake, Miranda explains, “We were together for 10 years, married for four, were very quickly divorced, and are friends.”

“I’m still processing everything and figuring out where to go and what happened. [Marriage is] a tough business, and we gave it our best college try.”

Lambert goes on to explain that if she were to ever get married again, albeit noting that it’s currently “not on my radar at all right now,” she would “feel like it’s not about it being a step in life. It’s not about a piece of paper or a diamond. It’s the way you feel about somebody and the commitment in your heart.”

While Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s new romance continues to make headlines, sources close to Miranda previously revealed to People that Lambert did feel “a tinge of hurt” after learning that Shelton had moved on to Stefani just months after finalizing their divorce.

The source explains that while Miranda felt “a tinge of hurt” when she “heard the news” about Blake and Gwen, she recognizes that “they are divorced, after all, and she wishes nothing but the best for Blake.”

While both Miranda and Blake were accused of being unfaithful in their relationship, sources close to the former couple revealed to E! Online that it was ultimately “busy schedules” and “rumors of infidelity” that led to the demise of the country duo’s marriage.

“Their busy schedules were a big issue for them,” a source close to Blake and Miranda revealed, “They both worked a lot and had to spend a lot of time apart. The less time they spent together, the more they grew apart.”

The source concludes by noting that “trust was an issue for both of them” and while both Shelton and Lambert denied the cheating claims, “rumors of cheating are still hard to hear.”

Currently, Blake Shelton continues to make headlines for his relationship with Gwen Stefani while Miranda Lambert is currently working on new music and preparing to embark on a tour with Kenny Chesney next year.
