Gwen Stefani ‘Mortified’ By Gavin Rossdale Cheating With Family Nanny As Blake Shelton Wants Xmas With Her & Kids

Gwen Stefani has experienced a year of highs (hello, Blake Shelton and The Voice) and lows (farewell, marriage with Gavin Rossdale and family nanny scandal). And although initially Gwen refrained from dishing on Gavin’s affair with the nanny, Stefani is finally confirming her heartbreak that Rossdale cheated on her, reported MSN.

Gavin and Gwen were married for 13 years, and Stefani is stoked about new boyfriend Blake and the success of her new single, but that hasn’t changed the fact that she feels Rossdale betrayed her. Talking with radio host Elvis Duran, Gwen described her emotional pain, which she poured into her new “I Used To Love You” hit.

“I went into the studio… everybody knows, pretty much, what happened to me,” Stefani admitted. “I got a divorce, which was completely not in the plan at all. I don’t know. For me, it surely wasn’t. A shock. A horrible, crazy year and explosion in my life.”

Rather than stay at home and hide, Gwen used her feelings to get her out of the house and into the studio.

“At that time, I wanted to go in and write,” Stefani recalled. “I just wanted to be in my bed crying and do what you do when life falls apart… Anyways, I went to the studio and I was convinced that I had to make something out of this.”

Gwen’s new boyfriend, Blake, expressed his pride in Stefani when she performed “I Used To Love You” on The Voice. Shelton pointed out that she used her pain to create something beautiful.

“If you go through whatever she went through to write that song, at least she’s getting something good, positive out of it,” said Blake.

And Shelton is hoping that he can convince Gwen to enjoy something positive over the holidays because he thinks that Stefani and her three sons should experience Christmas Oklahoma-style on his ranch, reported Hollywood Life.

Blake has decided that he needs some time just to kick back his heels and relax for the holiday vacation, and he hopes that Gwen will agree that heading to his ranch is the ideal solution.

“Blake loves spending time on his ranch in Tishomingo, Oklahoma and he wants Gwen and the kids to have a peaceful time with him there over the holidays,” an insider revealed to Hollywood Life.

In addition, Shelton believes that the little boys would enjoy learning what it’s like to be in the country rather than in the big city, added the source.

“He feels that Kingston and Zuma would really benefit from being away from city life in Los Angeles and would love the great outdoors. They could learn how to be cowboys, and Blake could teach them lots of other stuff that city folk don’t know. Gwen is very tempted by the suggestion.”

Stefani previously visited the ranch and enjoyed her time there. As a result, the insider also told Hollywood Life that she concurs it could be a positive change for her young sons, especially given the difficulties that the entire family has faced while going through the divorce.

Before Gwen concluded that divorce was the answer, Rossdale had an affair with family nanny Mindy Mann for three years, reported Us Weekly.

Stefani did not know that her husband was cheating until another nanny saw texts exchanged between Mann and Gavin. Noting that the texts were highly explicit and included nude photos and suggestions to arrange a time for sex, that nanny then told Gwen.

Rossdale and Stefani’s three little boys include Apollo, Kingston, and Zuma, all under 10-years-old. Although Gavin first claimed it was just flirty fun, he eventually admitted that he had cheated.

“[Gwen] was mortified, livid, and embarrassed,” a source told Us Weekly.
