Blake Shelton Hoping For Oklahoma Christmas With Gwen Stefani And Boys
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani haven’t been dating for very long, but it is rumored he is hoping to bring her and the boys back to Oklahoma for a country Christmas this year. Hollywood Life shared that Shelton has very important Christmas plans for them all if they can work it out. Of course, Gwen will have to get her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale on board since she would be taking the boys out of California and away from him for the holidays. A source explained that Blake Shelton is hopeful they can be here with him.
Here is what an inside source had to say about Blake Shelton’s plans for the holidays.
“Blake loves spending time on his ranch in Tishomingo, Oklahoma and he wants Gwen and the kids to have a peaceful time with him there over the holidays.”
The source then went on to talk about why Blake Shelton wants them there for the holidays. It really does sound like Blake is bonding with Gwen’s children already.
“He feels that Kingston and Zuma would really benefit from being away from city life in Los Angeles and would love the great outdoors. They could learn how to be cowboys, and Blake could teach them lots of other stuff that city folk don’t know.”
Fans are curious to hear if Gwen Stefani will take him up on the offer. At Thanksgiving, Gwen was seen in California at Disneyland with her boys and Blake was nowhere to be seen. The two have admitted that they are dating each other, but they are not out in public much together yet. The source did explain that Gwen is considering going to Oklahoma for Christmas though.
“Gwen is very tempted by the suggestion, she’s been there before and loved it and she thinks it’ll be good for her boys after the tough year they’ve had.”
Being in Oklahoma is really different from what Gwen Stefani is used to, but it sounds like she doesn’t mind slowing down once in a while. Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton met while filming The Voice in California and they both ended up going through a divorce at about the same time. They leaned on each other and it seems to have worked out for them. Gwen’s ex, Gavin Rossdale, won’t admit to dating anyone new yet. Blake’s ex, Miranda Lambert, says she is dating, but isn’t saying who the lucky man is and makes it sound like there could be more than one.

Gwen Stefani is obviously very proud of Blake Shelton and his musical accomplishments. Entertainment Tonight shared that Gwen actually called Blake “The Michael Jackson of country music.” Gwen went to her Instagram to congratulate Blake Shelton on his CMT Artist of the Year accomplishment. In Blake’s acceptance speech, he did mention his rough year, but Blake Shelton avoided giving thanks to Gwen Stefani for being on his side just yet. It seemed to be a bit too early in their relationship for that to happen just yet.
“I want to thank my entire team. There’s too many people to stand up here and name, but more importantly this has been a crazy year from the way it started to the way it’s ending so awesome for me, so thank y’all. This is a great way to end it for me. Thank you so much.”
