Lamar Odom Update: Khloe Kardashian Doesn’t Want Lamar To Live With Her After He’s Released From Hospital

Lamar Odom is reportedly facing a long recovery, and Khloé Kardashian is adamant that she won’t be the one to help him with it.

After staying by her estranged husband’s side nearly constantly during his recovery from an overdose, Khloé has reportedly drawn the line at providing Lamar a place to stay while he continues his recovery.

Sources close to Lamar Odom say he is facing very serious health complications and will soon be moving out of the hospital at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he has been staying since just before Thanksgiving. He will now need to move into a medical setting where he can continue to receive treatment and rehab.

“Lamar can’t stay at Cedars forever,” an insider told Radar Online. “He needs long-term care.”

“His associates really would like for him to have a home health-care type of situation, but that may not be possible,’ the source added.

One thing is clear, wherever Lamar Odom ends up, it won’t be with Khloé Kardashian. Even though she has continued to care for Lamar and even brought him Thanksgiving dinner, she doesn’t want to care for him long-term.

“Khloe has flat our refused to let Lamar move into her house,” the source told Radar. “She doesn’t want her house to be a hospital. She has been very clear about that.”

The report from Radar Online noted that Lamar Odom’s associates have had trouble finding a secure facility where he can receive treatment. His kids have visited from the East Coast, but there are no plans for Lamar to move across the country to be with them.

There also appears to be no reunion in the works for Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom. Though she called off the divorce during his hospital stay, Khloé reportedly has no plans to get back together with Lamar and has continued dating boyfriend James Harden.

Sources close to Khloé said she was never able to get over Odom’s alleged infidelity during their marriage. Though she was by his side from the very start of his medical ordeal, Khloé was reportedly torn apart by the pain from the failed marriage and Odom’s apparently lack of interest in turning himself around.

When the couple split more than two years ago, it was widely reported that Khloé and her family were begging Odom to get treatment for his substance abuse to and clean up his life, but Odom didn’t respond until it was already too late and the marriage was in shambles.

“[Khloé] loves Lamar and wants to see him pull through but she’ll never forget how he broke her heart,” an insider told Life and Style magazine. “That still haunts her every time she looks at him in his hospital bed.”

The source said Khloé ultimately forgave Lamar Odom, but, “the pain is still there and it bothers her when people make comments about her relationships and don’t know the half [of it].”

She has apparently gotten a bit testy about it at times. When a fan called her out for seemingly abandoning boyfriend James Harden, Khloé fired back to clarify that she and Odom are not a couple.

Lamar Odommay have other ideas. A source told Hollywood Life that Lamar Odom still loves Khloé and has hopes of winning her back.

“He loves her so much that he’s asked her to bring James [Harden] to see him,” the source said. “He wants to look James in his eyes, man to man, and tell him that if he doesn’t fully recover or things take a turn for the worse, he wants James to promise him that he’ll take great care of his wife Khloe and treat her like the queen she is.”

But judging by Khloée Kardashian’s insistence that Lamar Odom not move in with her after he’s released from the hospital, the chances of that plan working seem remote.
