Amazon Kindle Contest: Win $50 In Kindle Ebook Credit As Cyber Monday Deals Week Continues

Amazon is full of holiday spirit as they have announced a Kindle contest, while continuing to celebrate holiday sales with their Cyber Monday deals week. Amazon is slashing prices on everything from televisions, to remote control cars, and Star Wars toys. Kindle readers can enter to win $50 in Kindle Ebook credit. According to a press announcement from Amazon, 50 readers will win $50 in EBook credit that can be used to fill up their Kindles. While no purchase is necessary to enter, the contest coincides with Amazon’s Cyber Monday deals that have included lower prices on their selection of Kindles.

Amazon has had many deals this week as they continue with Cyber Monday, including many sales and lowered prices on Kindle Ebooks. For example, Kindle Unlimited users can save 87 percent on the Steven Wise book Sing for Us. With all the sales and deals on Kindle Ebooks, and Kindle tablets, there may not be a better time of year than to gift someone a Kindle.

The Amazon Kindle Ebook contest doesn’t require a purchase and is simple to enter. You just visit the website and enter your information for a chance to win. You do need to enter your full name and address. The Amazon Kindle contest is open to legal residents and runs until Dec. 17, 2015. You must be 18 years or older in order to enter and there is only one entry per email address allowed. Those who try to use multiple Amazon accounts or more than one email address to enter will be automatically disqualified from the contest. Winners’ names will be posted on the website until June 30, 2016.

Amazon Kindle contest winners will be selected through a process of random drawing. Amazon states they will begin selecting winners’ names around Dec. 21. The Ebooks will be awarded in credit so winners may shop for Kindle Ebooks on the Amazon website, then receive credit that enables them to purchase the books free of charge.

Amazon discussed the sweepstakes prizes on their website.

“We will award fifty (50) prizes, each consisting of a $50 credit for Kindle eBook titles sold through Amazon.com. The total Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of each prize is $50.00. Credit only applies to Kindle eBook titles sold on Amazon.com (choose from books available in the Kindle Store and your credit will be applied to your purchase), does not apply to other digital items, physical goods or Amazon Gift Cards, and may not be combined with other offers. Credit will be allocated proportionally among all promotional items in your order. Credit will expire one (1) year from date of receipt and be subject to certain terms and conditions as specified by Sponsor.

“If any of the Kindle eBook titles obtained when redeeming a credit are returned, the refund will equal the credit amount redeemed for the applicable Kindle eBook title(s) being returned, subject to applicable refund policies. Credit may only be used by individual legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia. Winners will be responsible for any Kindle book title purchase costs exceeding the $50 credit provided. The winners will be responsible for paying all costs and expenses related to the prize that are not specifically mentioned, including but not limited to, taxes, and any other expenses that might reasonably be incurred by the winners in receiving or using the prizes. The total ARV of all prizes is $2,500.00.”

It should be noted that those who enter the Amazon Kindle Ebook contest will be automatically placed on Amazon’s mailing list.
