Jennifer Lawrence Calls The Hemsworth Brothers ‘Disgusting Animals,’ Reveals She Finds Sex Scenes Uncomfortable

Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence recently shared some interesting facts about her friends and co-stars, Chris and Liam Hemsworth. According to Irish Examiner, not only did Lawrence reveal that the brothers are “the craziest family” she’s ever hung out with, but that they also have some very “disgusting” ways of life.

Lawrence was first questioned on why she always refers to Liam as a “bear,” to which she stated, “He’s an animal! His whole family, they’re real animals. It’s the craziest family I’ve been around in my life. The way that they communicate is so physical and crazy.”

Just how crazy are Chris and Liam? Apparently, crazy enough to dare each other to eat disgusting things in exchange for a few dollars.

“It’s like, ‘Eat this scab and I’ll give you five bucks!’ They’re disgusting. They’re real bears; they’re animals!”

Lawrence and Liam have worked together in the past, most notably on the hit franchise Hunger Games, where Liam plays one potential romantic interest for Lawrence’s Katniss Everdeen. In regards to how the brothers act while on set, Lawrence shared a particularly funny story about what the two view as being a funny prank.

“Chris, one time, thought it was funny to bust in on his friend that was in the shower and cut his hair off,” she stated. “They’re really intense.”

At the same time, Lawrence went on to reveal that, despite Liam’s pension for crazy antics, the actress is a little disappointed that he will no longer eat meat. “It drives me crazy because every time we’re out to dinner, I’m like, ‘You’d love this!’ and he’s like, ‘I can’t eat it!'” Lawrence explained in the interview.

Meanwhile, this week has proved to be one full of revelations for the young actress. In fact, along with her candid stories about Chris and Liam, Lawrence also revealed a little on her upcoming sex scene with Chris Pratt.

While Jennifer Lawrence has been involved in a number of different projects over the years, her upcoming movie with Pratt marks the first time she will be featured in an intense sex scene. With that in mind, the actress sat down with Bustle and explained how uncomfortable she felt filming the intimate scene in the new movie, titled Passengers.

“It was really weird. Everything was done right, it wasn’t anybody’s fault, nobody did anything wrong, it’s just a bizarre experience,” she stated. “I got really, really drunk, but then that led to more anxiety. When I got home I was like, ‘what have I done?'”

The main issue the American Hustle star had with doing a sex scene with Pratt was the fact that he is a married man. This is something Lawrence revealed bothered her a lot after filming the sex scene and made her feel the most vulnerable she has ever felt in her entire life.

“My co-star is married. It was going to be my first time even kissing a married man, and guilt is like the worst feeling in your stomach,” Lawrence said in the interview. “I knew it was my job, but I couldn’t tell my stomach. It was just very vulnerable. You don’t know what’s too much. You want to do it real. You want everything to be real. That was the most vulnerable I’ve ever been.”

Fans can watch Hemsworth and Lawrence in action in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, which is currently out in theaters. Meanwhile, Lawrence and Chris Pratt are set to join each other on the big screens when Passengers is released on December 21, 2016.
