J.J. Abrams Answers ‘Star Wars’ Question: Where Is Luke Skywalker?

If you are interested in Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens, then you have noticed that Luke Skywalker is not in the previews. J.J. Abrams is now speaking out about why you are not seeing Skywalker in the previews. Zap 2 It shared what J.J. Abrams had to say about it all. Everyone is curious and now J.J. Abrams is finally giving out a little bit of information on what is going on with Luke Skywalker.

J.J. Abrams sat down with Howard Stern to talk about it all and explain why you aren’t seeing Luke Skywalker in the previews for the movie.

“Here’s the thing … I really want to make sure we’re not ruining the movie for people, that they’re not seeing too much of it before it comes out.

“‘I hate when I go and see a trailer and I feel like I’ve just seen a whole movie in an encapsulated form.’ It’s a move studios make time and time again in order to sell a movie. But as the director states, ‘You don’t have to do that to sell a movie!'”

It sounds like J.J. Abrams is doing all that he can to leave some surprises for fans when they go and see Stars Wars 7: The Force Awakens. One thing that Abrams is leaving out is the fate of Luke Skywalker and if he will even be in the new movie.

IB Times shared that J.J. Abrams may not be talking, but that isn’t keeping Mark Hamill quiet. Mark did say that Luke Skywalker will be seen in the movie. He also shared more details about Skywalker and said that Luke will end up spending his life on an isolated planet. Hamill is best-known for his part as Luke Skywalker, so it is great to hear from him. He went on to explain what will happen with Luke Skywalker in Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens.

“Obviously you’re seeing him in a very different time in his life, there are lots of surprises in this movie. You’re going to love it.”

Hamill even shared some details about shooting his scenes for the movie and what he thought about it.

“It reminded me of when I was in Tunisia on the salt flats. If you could get into your own mind and shut out the crew and look at the horizon, you really felt like you were in a galaxy far, far away. I had that same wave of emotion happen to me when I was on Skellig Michael in Ireland. I wasn’t anticipating it.”

It looks like J.J. Abrams tried to keep the fate of Luke Skywalker a secret, but Luke is obviously in the movie. Abrams should have talked to everyone else and made sure that they didn’t share any details either, but that isn’t how it worked out. The details of what all happens in this flick are being kept secret though. The new movie is said to focus on Rey and Finn as they try to find the Jedi legend. This is going to be a movie that you do not want to miss.

The new movie Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens will hit theaters on December 18. Fans were really expecting Luke Skywalker to show up in the final preview, but he wasn’t there, so they started to worry about what J.J. Abrams decided to do in the movie. Viewers may have to wait until the movie comes out to find out exactly what is going on with Luke Skywalker and if he is in the movie. J.J. Abrams isn’t revealing anything about Luke Skywalker if he can help it.
