Rapist Who Tore Victim’s Teeth Out With Pliers, Dropped Dumbbells On Her Head, Gets 10 Years

A British rapist, who pulled one victim’s teeth out with pliers, dropped dumbbells on her head, and committed a host of other hideous crimes against her and at least one other victim, has been given a 10-year sentence, STV News is reporting.

Forty-four-year-old Donald Jeffrey was convicted by High Court judge Lord Matthews on 13 charges, including five rapes, multiple assaults, and attempted murder. He was sentenced to “lifetime restriction,” which means that, once he’s eligible for parole after 10 years behind bars, he will still be registered as a sex offender for the rest of his life, as well as subjected to continued monitoring as long as he lives.

Jeffrey faced trial for his crimes against two women, both of whom testified. One victim, a 47-year-old woman, described the day Jeffrey pulled her teeth out with a pair of pliers. Jeffrey logged into the victim’s Facebook account, as he had done before, then accused her of “talking to other men.”

“Each time he took a scroll through my mobile phone, I would get a heavy slap. This went on for a couple of hours.”

Then, the victim said, Jeffrey demanded that she “get the pliers.”

“I was hoping to god he would not do this. But, when I gave him them, he did not need to ask me to open my mouth… I just stood there. I did not even want to think what would happen if I refused, I was not taking the chance. He then started – pliers in, pull… pliers in, pull. One tooth took an extreme amount of force because two of my teeth had been glued together during earlier dental work. I could hear my teeth falling onto the wooden floor.”

The victim said she was so numb during the experience that she didn’t shed a tear. A year later, the victim is still awaiting dental work to repair her damaged teeth.

The rapist wasn’t done. After making the victim pose in front of the bathroom mirror without her teeth, he then assaulted her with a hammer — an assault which she says caused her brain damage. He then tried to drown her in ice water before threatening to throw her out of a 17th-story window. He then forced her to lie on the floor — hands in her pockets so she couldn’t protect herself — as he dropped dumbbells onto her head.

Another woman, whose age was not provided to the media, described a similar history of domestic violence at the hands of Jeffrey. She said that he broke her arm with a martial arts weapon — while she was pregnant — as well as directed her to abuse a child who was living in the home with them, according to Metro.

In his sentencing, Judge Lord Matthews admitted that his hands were tied, according to the Daily Mail.

Due to various legal requirements, the most the judge could give him would have been 20 years, which he was required by law to reduce by half.

However, whether or not Jeffrey will ever be released from prison, according to the judge, will be up to the parole board.

“If and when you are ever released will be a matter for the Parole Board but they will doubtless look at your case with particular caution.”

Donald Jeffrey had previously served time for robbery, firearms-related crimes, and drug offenses.
