MTV’s ‘The Challenge: Battle Of The Bloodlines’ — Meet The Cast And Predict Who May Win

The brand new season of The Challenge has finally arrived. Although this marks the 27th season for the hit MTV series, it will feature a new format that has former competitors and newcomers facing off with members of their own family. With the new season getting ready to start, here is a look at some of the cast members of The Challenge: Battle of the Bloodlines and which teams have a chance to win it all.

According to the International Business Times, The Challenge veteran Aneesa Ferreira (The Real World: Chicago) will be included in the new season and will be joined by her cousin Rianna. Although she has been close to winning it all in the past, Aneesa may find this season distracting. In particular, Aneesa is set to fall for another contestant on the show. Will her drama prevent her from finally winning it all?

While Aneesa may find herself enamored with a rookie, Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio (The Real World: Key West) will have his eyes on winning another Challenge championship. Johnny will be bringing along his cousin Vince in his bid to win it all. However, the two may find their path to victory riddled with enemies, especially given their overly confident attitudes. That being said, Johnny’s past performance and experience clearly give him the upper hand going into the contest.

Along with Aneesa and Johnny, another fan favorite Cohutta Grindstaff (The Real World: Sidney) is set to join the show with his cousin Jill. Although Jill appears to be in top shape to help Cohutta take home the grand prize, the two are reportedly set to get lost in the house politics. This may end up hurting them most when it comes to the challenges.

Speaking of house politics, it would appear as though there are a few competitors who may be distracted by events outside of the challenges. In fact, Christina’s (Are You the One?) sister Emily is set to stir up the drama after she goes after another contestant who isn’t exactly single.

Meanwhile, Cory (The Real World: Explosion) and cousin Mitch will make their debut in the competition. Although it isn’t known how well they fair in the challenges, the two will face some issues as they go after a few of the women on other teams. This likely won’t go over well with the other teams, especially considering how emotional the competition can get.

At the same time, this season will also feature two sets of twins. This includes Dario (Are You The One?) and his brother Raphy, who are adamant in their defiance of the veterans, and Thomas (Battle of the Exes 2) and brother Stephen, who are set to excel in the challenges. Whether or not these twins will have an advantage given their close kinship is yet to be seen.

Aside from the contestants already mentioned, the new season will also feature a bit of an emotional appearance from one former competitor. According to Zap2it, fans will be treated to the return of CT Tamburello, who is set to team up with Megan Brown. Megan is the sister of Diem Brown (Battle of the Exes 2), who tragically passed away after a long fight with cancer.

That being said, CT and Megan are most likely going to appear during a special challenge instead of regular contestants. Even still, if CT’s promise that he is there to “wreak havoc” is of any indication, then their appearance is certainly something to watch out for in the new season.

Fans can tune in and find out which team wins it all when The Challenge: Battle of the Bloodlines airs December 2 on MTV.
