Artists Send Love To Joey + Rory As Joey Feek Battles Cancer [Video]

Joey Feek is going through a hard battle with cancer right now, and luckily, everyone in country music is standing behind her and praying right along with her family. Taste of Country shared that several country artists put together a video, and they are sharing their well wishes with Joey Feek. This was taped before Thanksgiving and lasts about 15 minutes, with all of them sharing their thoughts.

Dolly Parton shared her wishes for Joey Feek, and here is what she had to say to Feek.

“I’m sorry you are not feeling good. I’ve loved you for years. I know you have often done my songs and I have heard you are a big fan. But we have something in common. We both believe in a higher power and we believe that through God, all things are possible. Keep praying and I will keep praying for you.”

There are a ton of big country artists that shared their thoughts, including Reba, Tanya Tucker, Charlie Daniels, Marty Stuart and Connie Smith, Wynonna Judd, Jeannie Seely, Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts, Sara Evans, Lee Greenwood, John Anderson, and Brenda Lee. Joey Feek is lucky to have so many amazing people praying for her and on her side through this big fight. Ever since Joey’s battle started, fans have been sharing that they are on her side and sending out prayers, but so is the country music world.

Today shared that even though Joey Feek is going through a hard time right now, she is still spending time with her daughter Indiana. Joey and Indiana have even been playing a bit of dress up, which looks like a lot of fun for her little girl. In the picture, Joey is sitting in her bed and eating some celery while Indiana is riding a tricycle. Along with it, they shared the caption, “…hand-made pigtails and a second-hand tricycle.”

Rory recently shared a blog update on exactly how Joey Feek is doing. Joey is going through a rough time, but Rory is keeping fans really up to date on how things are going with them. Things are not looking great for her, but Joey has Rory by her side and the entire country music world praying for her.

“She steadied with her cane and I softly moved her across the room singing George Strait’s ‘You Look So Good In Love’ in her ear. In the middle of the song though, as I was being careful not to step on her toes — she stopped and looked up at me and said, ‘How about if I lead?’ And I followed her lead as we slowly two-stepped on her mama’s living room floor.”

Rory Feek has shared that Joey wants to let the entire world know about what is going on with her. They have decided to share the good and the bad of this battle with everyone. Joey doesn’t want to keep things from her fans and is willing to let them know everything. Here is how Rory Feek explained it all.

“Like dancing, she wants to do this right, or not do it at all… to share the good, the bad, and the beautiful. And so we will.”

At this time, Joey Feek is still battling cancer. She is at her family home, but she is on hospice. Her husband Rory shared that Joey has hit a point where she can’t walk anymore, but Joey is in good spirits despite that and is pushing through. The family is still praying for a miracle, and Joey has hopes that somehow she will be able to see her little girl Indiana grow up.
