11 Year Old Girl Dies after being Kicked in the Head by a Horse
11 year old Eloise Peek of Norfolk, UK has died as a result of injuries suffered after being kicked in the head by a horse on her family’s farm.
Eloise was prepping a horse for riding show when another horse nearby kicked her. Her mom, Michelle Peek, found the girl lying unconscious in the field shortly after and called for help. Eloise was airlifted to a nearby hospital with serious head and spine injuries. She died after spending about 12 hours on life support.
The accident happened Sunday, June 7 on the grandparents farm after Eloise was asked by her mother to wait for help, but the girl went to get the horse alone.
Such a tragedy when something like this happens to a child. My thoughts are with the family.
