‘Long Island Medium’ Returns With A Special Holiday Episode
The Christmas holiday season is a time of giving and sharing with others. Theresa Caputo will use her special and unique gifts to give closure, peace, and healing to several families. During her one-hour TLC special, Caputo will put aside her own holiday plans as she sets out to help others regain some comfort and joy in their lives. Theresa takes getting into the holiday “spirit” to a whole new level.
During the special, TV Series Finale shared that Theresa Caputo will reunite a family with their father, who tragically passed away from a heart attack during a holiday foot race. Caputo later gives an impromptu reading while at an airport for a woman who lost her sister. Theresa Caputo also finds the time to hold an emotional group reading at a veteran’s home.

After the special, fans who can’t get enough of Theresa will be eagerly awaiting her eighth season, which will kick off on Sunday, January 3. Caputo will conduct several special celebrity readings during the new season. Theresa will read for Jim Parsons, Susan Lucci, Jamie Lynn Sigler, and others. Theresa Caputo will conduct a wide variety of readings, and this season she includes personal readings for children. Caputo will also do one of the biggest group readings she’s ever done as part of a fundraising event.
Several episodes will focus on specific themes, ranging from holidays to weddings. One episode will honor firefighters and police officers, and Theresa will do readings for those who lost loved ones during the horrific events of September 11. Later, the Caputo’s take a much-needed vacation to Florida, which makes Theresa think about taking up winter residence there in order to escape the cold Long Island winters.
Exactly how did Theresa Caputo become America’s favorite medium? According to her website, Theresa Caputo was very young when she had her first experience interacting with spirits. After that, it took Theresa years to learn how to manage her gifts.
“I’ve been seeing, feeling, and sensing Spirit since I was four years old, but it wasn’t until I was in my 20s that I learned to communicate with souls in Heaven. After suffering from debilitating anxiety and trying to manage it on my own and with a therapist for years, my mom introduced me to a spiritual healer and teacher named Pat Longo. Caputo goes on to say that she’s been a practicing medium for 10 years, and besides Theresa’s popular Long Island Medium series, she tours the country with her Theresa Caputo Live! The Experience show. Caputo is also a New York Times bestselling author with two books under her belt. Her first book, There’s More to Life than This: Healing Messages, Remarkable Stories, and Insight from the Other Side (Atria Books, 2013), debuted at No. 2 on the New York Times bestseller list. Theresa’s other book is titled You Can’t Make This Stuff Up: Life-Changing Lessons from Heaven.

Everything Theresa Caputo has accomplished so far is impressive, considering she still has a family and a home to maintain. Theresa and her husband, Larry, have been married for 25 years, and fans love to watch their humorous interactions with each other. Larry comes across as a very loving and doting husband who does everything in his power to please Theresa. The couple have two children, Larry Jr., 25, and Victoria, 21.
