Carrie Underwood Is Amazing In New ‘Heartbeat’ Video, Proves She Can Be A Romantic After All

Carrie Underwood has once again proven that she an amazing musician. The highly anticipated video for her most recent song called “Heartbeat” has just premiered on Tuesday, and fans are loving it already. They are seeing yet another side of her that is pretty captivating.

The video first premiered on Yahoo Music and is making the rounds on social media. Underwood tweeted the link for her fans to check it out. “Heartbeat” is unique in the fact that this is not your usual Carrie Underwood tune. This is the second single from her new album, Storyteller. She sings of dancing barefoot with her guy underneath a romantic harvest moon.

Carrie depicts this same setting as she dances in the moonlit forest barefoot wearing a gorgeous sparkly golden dress with her equally golden locks flowing free in the wind. The dramatic dress the mom-of-one is wearing also shows off her toned legs and is even a bit see-through as she is dancing in the moonlight.

At one point, she lies down on the grass looking up at the stars dreaming of her true love. She then sees fireflies glowing all around her, which according to the lyrics, reminds her of him.

“And we can’t see those city lights and I love the way you look in a firefly glow
Saying everything without making a sound, a cricket choir in the background, underneath a harvest moon.”

The 32-year-old country star has been making music since she won American Idol 10 years ago. She has come a long way since then, and she is currently one of the biggest names in the industry. Now that she is married to hockey player Mike Fisher and has a baby boy, Carrie seems to have everything she has ever dreamed of, even if she did say that she never thought she would get married. She is always saying just how blessed and thankful she is, so much so that she has taken to singing about her two guys. They have inspired new music from her, including “Heartbeat.”

Fans are used to seeing Carrie Underwood in a different light. She is usually belting out tunes about men cheating, Cowboy Casanovas, and even singing about her faith.

However, this time she is all about romance, and it definitely works for her. In fact, the “Smoke Break” singer can most likely do anything she chooses. She dished recently to Taste of Country that this is new for her to be singing about love.

“I don’t do typically do very many love songs. But ‘Heartbeat,’ when we were writing it, there was something so real about it. That’s definitely, in some ways, that’s me. It’s my story.”

Underwood just recently won an award for Favorite Country Female Artist at the 2015 American Music Awards. She was stunning in her caped gown, which had everyone talking. She also performed “Heartbeat” on stage at the AMAs, and she knocked it out of the ballpark.

She is one busy girl, but not too busy to take time out to reunite with her old mentor, Simon Cowell, in London for the X Factor finale on November 29. Cowell was a definite influence in her life when she was trying to impress him and the other judges on stage during her American Idol days.

Carrie will also be headed out on her tour to promote Storyteller next year. She will have her baby boy, Isaiah, with her as well. He may just inspire her to make even more music for her next album while they are on the road together. But for now, she will be enjoying her son’s first Christmas and spending time with her husband as well before her busy tour schedule begins.
