Miranda Lambert Closing Two Businesses After Blake Shelton Divorce?
Miranda Lambert wants to put her marriage to Blake Shelton behind her, and in doing so, she’s reportedly planning to close two of her businesses in Oklahoma — much to the dismay of many of her neighbors.
According to a new report, Miranda Lambert is said to be considering shutting down a local boutique and animal shelter, which she had opened while married to her former partner, and her Oklahoma neighbors aren’t happy. On November 28, Classicalite reported on the news, claiming Miranda Lambert was preparing to close both The Pink Pistol and the no-kill shelter in Tishomingo in an effort to cut her final ties to Shelton.
“[Miranda Lambert]’s so determined to get out of Dodge, she’s already given two-weeks notice to employees at the shelter and made plans for the boutique’s closing,” a source reportedly told OK! Magazine for their December 9 issue, via the Classicalite report.

Miranda Lambert and her former husband parted ways in July after four years of dating. Then, just months later, Shelton went public with his relationship with Gwen Stefani, with whom he stars on The Voice.

Although Miranda Lambert’s ex has been quite busy with his new romance, most recently celebrating Thanksgiving with his new love, Miranda Lambert has been keeping a low profile, and has yet to step out with anyone new. Instead, Miranda Lambert appears to be staying focused on her friends, and her music, and continues to keep fans in the loop with her day-t0-day life on social media.
That said, Miranda Lambert has been the target of several rumors regarding the end of her marriage to Shelton, and his new girlfriend, Stefani. Most recently, Miranda Lambert was rumored to be “at war” with Stefani due to her jealousy over their public romance. However, while Life & Style‘s latest cover spoke of “jealousy” and “revenge,” a source has since confirmed to Gossip Cop that there was no truth to the report.
Miranda Lambert and her former partner reunited for the first time since their divorce announcement at last month’s Country Music Awards, but during the event, they kept their distance, and afterwards, Shelton was spotted at an after party with his new girlfriend, Stefani, while Miranda Lambert celebrated elsewhere.
Although there have been rumors regarding a potential feud between Miranda Lambert and The Voice star, a source told Hollywood Life that Miranda Lambert can actually relate quite well to her former husband’s new leading lady.
“Despite the fact that Gwen is dating her ex-husband, [Miranda Lambert] has always been a fan of her music… She can totally relate to her new song.”
Stefani released “Used To Love You” earlier this month, following rumors of her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale’s alleged affair with their former nanny, Mindy Mann. (Us Weekly was first to report the news.)
“Marriage is a tough business, and we gave it our best college try,” Miranda Lambert told Cosmopolitan Magazine, via Entertainment Tonight Online. “I had a great relationship with an amazing man, so I know what good is. I have a great launching pad for the future. I will never take that for granted.”
As Miranda Lambert attempts to move on, she admitted it isn’t always easy, explaining, “Some of that might mean nights on my porch crying, drinking whiskey, and going, ‘Man, this sucks right now.’ ”
Miranda Lambert is set to go on tour early next year. The tour, which will take Miranda Lambert to England and Ireland, will also include country singer Sam Hunt.
