Nicki Minaj's ex, Safaree Samuels, shows off his toned body in an underwear Instagram selfie on Sunday.

Nicki Minaj’s Ex Shows Off Toned Body In Underwear Selfie, Fans Compare Safaree Against Meek Mill

Nicki Minaj may have moved on from ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels after ending her relationship with the rapper last year, but it looks like fans are weighing-in on Minaj’s current romance with Meek Mill after Safaree opted to show off his toned physique in a revealing photo on Instagram.

On Sunday, Safaree Samuels took to Instagram to share a photo of himself donning nothing more than a pair of boxer briefs. While Safaree was quick to remove the snap after fans began making comments about the revealing nature of the photo, The Shade Room captured a screengrab of Safaree’s photo before the post was ultimately deleted.

The caption on the captured photo reads, “#PostAndDelete #Safaree out here trying to give #TheGame a run for his money,” referring to The Game’s recent history of posting underwear selfies to Instagram in order to show off his buff physique.

The NSFW photo, which was later censored with a “moon face” emoji, sparked a wide variety of comments from Nicki Minaj fans who began to compare Safaree’s appearance against that of Minaj’s current beau, Meek Mill.

Good morning Mr buddy have something for you… #itiswhatitis vol.2 trust me i got it… Its quiet for a reason 🙏🏽… I need to hit the gym.. Ive let myself go😒😒😡😡.. Tell me something i dont know.. 👂🏽👂🏽👂🏽👂🏽

While some fans blasted Safaree for seeking attention for his revealing selfie, others praised Samuels’ commitment to staying fit while arguing that Safaree was better suited for Nicki Minaj than Meek Mill.

One fan took to Twitter to write, “Safaree looks a hell of a lot better than Meek Mill, so in terms of physique and facial appearance, Nicki downgraded,” while another simply adds, “Damn Safaree. I get it nicki.”

Despite the divide in fans’ opinions of Nicki Minaj’s former relationship with Safaree Samuels compared to that of Meek Mill, it doesn’t appear that Nicki and Safaree have any interest in rekindling their nearly 12-year relationship.

Earlier this month, sources close to Safaree Samuels confirmed to TMZ that Safaree is planning to sue Nicki Minaj for unpaid credits on her most successful albums, The Pinkprint, Pink Friday, and Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.

Similarly, Safaree is also seeking royalties from Nicki Minaj’s biggest singles, including her collaboration with Drake, Chris Brown, and Lil Wayne for “Only” and collaboration with Beyoncé for “Feeling Myself” and “Flawless (Remix).”

Safaree’s source argues that Samuels was heavily involved in the process of creating Nicki Minaj’s album and although he received executive producer credit on Nicki’s first two albums, Safaree feels that he hasn’t been compensated properly for Minaj’s biggest works.

Nicki Minaj and Safaree Samuels parted ways in 2014 after rumors began suggesting that Nicki was unfaithful in their relationship. Despite the rumors, Nicki Minaj later denied the claims by implying that it was Safaree who cheated “on a loyal woman,” but Safaree maintains that it was Meek Mill who “snitched” on him to Nicki Minaj regarding his alleged infidelity.

In an interview with Jamaica Star in October, Safaree Samuels implies that Meek Mill tarnished his name to Nicki Minaj in an attempt to get them to break up so that Meek could have Minaj to himself.

“I have seen things that I don’t even bother to speak about, so I will just leave that. But you know, as a man, there is just certain things that you don’t do to another man, whether it’s true or not—like its none of your business to go and tell somebody’s significant other that, ‘Oh, I saw your boyfriend doing this and doing that,'” Safaree explains.

The news comes just days after Safaree Samuels further blasted Nicki Minaj on Twitter by implying that he should have also received credit for Nicki’s American Music Awards victory for Favorite Hip-Hop album for The Pinkprint.

Just hours after Nicki Minaj’s AMAs victory was announced, Safaree took to Twitter to write, “Heard I won an award. The pen is always mightier than the sword.”
