WWE Rumors, Spoilers: ‘Raw’ Preview — Roman Reigns Desperate, Build-Up For ‘TLC’
WWE is already prepping for its next big pay-per-view which is going to be TLC on Dec. 13. There are already two matches in place, but a lot more have been rumored and will likely be added this week and next. The preview for this week’s Monday Night Raw has a few spoilers and a lot of speculation as to what is coming, and it includes Roman Reigns getting extremely desperate.
Reigns is going to be facing off with Sheamus at the big PPV and he will chase the Irishman’s newly won WWE Title in a Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match. Unfortunately, he’s likely going to be outnumbered as The Authority seems to have enlisted the services of both Rusev and King Barrett to back up the new champ.
Last week, Reigns took care of all three men in the main event and appears to be getting desperate. According to the Monday Night Raw five-point preview from WWE.com, Reigns’ desperation is coming to a boiling point and he may soon explode.
New extremes for Roman Reigns
When Reigns won the WWE Title at Survivor Series, it appeared he had finally broken through. Then, Sheamus came out to end the show and take the title away from him, via a Money in the Bank cash-in. Now, WWE has built up Reigns as a desperate man with nothing to lose and all of the odds against him. Monday, he may show he’s willing to do anything to get the title back.
The Lunatic Champion?
On SmackDown, Dean Ambrose won a triple threat match between he, Dolph Ziggler, and Tyler Breeze to become the number one contender for the Intercontinental Title. As recapped by WWE.com, Ambrose will now go on to face Kevin Owens at TLC.
Look for some kind of interaction between Owens and Ambrose to build up their feud.
Poor table manners
The feud between the Dudley Boyz and The Wyatt Family is building with each and every show. On SmackDown, the Dudleys got a taste of their own medicine as Bubba Ray Dudley was put through a table, and it’s setting up a big confrontation.
Expect a Tables Match at TLC to be officially announced between these teams soon, but the Dudleys are still outnumbered. One may wonder who could help them. Perhaps a family member? Perhaps Spike Dudley? Back in October, Bubba Ray talked about a possible Spike return with WrestleZone.
“If we ever needed Spike, if we ever needed our little brother, if we ever needed the runt of the litter, like I said, he’s no more than a phone call away, and he’d be right there by our side, and I think the WWE Universe would go absolutely crazy to see Bubba, Devon and Spike standing together in the same ring again.”
Far from finished
Paige and Charlotte’s feud is going to be touched on more after the wild one has gotten the upper-hand on the Divas Champion the past couple of weeks. It may be time for Charlotte to get some retribution which will likely lead to another title match between the two soon.
Leftovers for The New Day?
Last Monday, The New Day issued an open challenge which they closed after both the Usos and Lucha Dragons answered it. On SmackDown, all three teams ran into one another again and it’s obviously setting up a big triple-threat WWE Tag Title match at TLC.
Monday Night Raw is one of only four shows remaining until TLC in two weeks, and the build-up is going to continue. The biggest story right now is Roman Reigns’ desperate chase for the WWE Title currently held by Sheamus, but the star-power missing from injuries is obvious.
