Watch: Britney Spears Just Loves Grooving To Adele’s ‘Hello’

Britney Spears’ and Adele’s mutual adoration for each other just reached another level.

A few days after Adele called Britney the “queen,” the American singer repaid the favor by grooving to “Hello,” the song which has broken so many records since its release last month that it would probably take an entire afternoon just to list them.

Britney Spears uploaded a lovely black and white slow motion video of herself performing a number of fouetté turns to the song on Twitter, also confessing her love for Adele in the process.

“I could dance to this song a MILLION times. Love you @adele!”

Quite a beautiful way for Britney to express her gratitude, we must say!

The fact that Britney Spears decided to post the video on her social media accounts (she posted the video on Instagram too) just a few days after Adele’s third studio album 25 sold more than 3.38 million copies in the first week of its release shows that Britney considers the song not only an epic emotional number, but one which could also be perfect for some old-school grooving.

After all, as Bustle reports, in addition to being a famous musician, Spears is also a renowned performer with lots of great moves, currently on display in Las Vegas during her Britney Spears: Piece of Me residency at Planet Hollywood.

Earlier, in a candid interview with NPR, Adele had confessed that Britney Spears remains one of her favorite singers of all time. The record-breaking British singer had also said that she listens to Britney’s music as a true “music fan.”

And while Adele might be a great fan of Britney Spears, the “Hello” singer has legions of fans of her own. The internet went into a collective meltdown when the first song of her new album hit the web, and Adele has not looked back since. Her third album has gone on to break all sorts of records, with music critics hailing it as one of the best songs of the year. While some called it a truly “supreme example of a ballad”, others said that “Hello” is “precisely the kind of lovelorn epic ballad that makes Adele one of the biggest stars in the world.”

It is all true, of course. Adele herself, overwhelmed as she is with the response, said she would like nothing more than for her songs to bring joy to people’s lives.

But, to Adele, it also brings a lot of tears, which we imagine can only be a good thing.

“Obviously, I hope that I bring joy to people’s lives, not just sadness,” she said when asked about music lovers’ emotional responses to her music. “And I find that most people feel quite relaxed around me.”

No doubt about that. Now that Britney has dedicated her dance to “Hello,” Adele can rest assured that her music is indeed bringing joy to the world. After all, can there ever be anything more expressive of joy than a black and white slow motion Britney Spears’ dance video?
