Ryan Seacrest Engagement Reveal Only A Rumor

Is Ryan Seacrest engaged to Renee Hall? Recent pics of the two at Heathrow Airport gave a lot of people the idea that wedding bells might ring soon! Ryan and Renee were apparently spotted at the airport as they arrived for a flight after after Ryan’s Thanksgiving trip to London, England. News reports said that Ryan’s sometime girlfriend of eight months, Renee Hall, had a “big ole rock” on her ring finger, described by TMZ as “massive enough” to be “carry-on luggage.”

That “huge diamond” wasn’t on Renee’s ring finger though, which means that Seacrest is NOT “out of the dating pool.” That news will bring a sigh of relief to Ryan’s many female admirers, whose disappointment if Ryan and Renee do get engaged will be almost as huge as the engagement ring.

Earlier in November, Twitter user Jasmine said that she wants to marry Ryan, and others pointed out how sexy he is.

The confusion about whether Ryan, described by as “one of showbiz’s most eligible bachelors,” actually popped the question to Renee came about because Ryan was travelling together with friend Sarah Mutch and Beverly Hills real estate businessman Kurt Rappaport. Sarah, who looks a lot like Renee, was wearing the diamond ring because she is engaged to Rappaport. Renee Hall wasn’t even there!

The tangle could have been cleared up more quickly, but Ryan refused to answer questions, leaving it open to speculation whether he popped the engagement question. The Daily Mail said that the ring “certainly “seemed engagement worthy.”

Renee and Ryan have been reportedly dating for eight months after meeting during Seacrest’s 40th birthday party last March. Renee is 27, and has an 8-year-old son son from a previous marriage, and it seemed likely to everyone one that she would head down the aisle again.

But online gossip buster, Gossip Cop, saw through the confused reports, and posted the truth almost immediately. An exclusive source told the gossip site that the engagement news about Ryan and Renee was “completely inaccurate.”

Seacrest was celebrating Thanksgiving in London with with a group of longtime friends, including Rappaport and Much, but “did not get engaged” to any of them! There’s even a lot of questions now as to whether Ryan and Renee are together at all.

Ryan has been “romantically linked” to a lot of different women, and his “extensive dating life” is no secret. Sheryl Crow, Teri Hatcher, Sara Jean Underwood, Sophie Monk, Shayna Terese Taylor, and Hilary Cruz have all had their moment in the Seacrest spotlight, although none of the relationships lasted for long, and some were nothing more than rumors. Seacrest had called it quits with girlfriend Shayna Terese Taylor just a few months before meeting Renee.

A few years ago, Ryan was in a long term relationship with Dancing With The Stars judge Julianne Hough. They were together from April 2010 to March 2013, but never got engaged. When 27-year-old Julianne got engaged to NHL player Brooks Laich last August, there were rumors that Ryan was “devastated” and wanted her back. That romance rumor about Ryan also turned out not to be true.

For Ryan, there just may not be enough time in his life to maintain a relationship with Renee, or anyone else. Called the “hardest-working man in Hollywood,” by the Wall Street Journal, Seacrest is responsible for hugely successful shows like Keeping Up With the Kardashians, has his syndicated own show, On Air With Ryan Seacrest, and a “merry-go-round of hosting gigs” including American Idol, He also hosts specials and in January is premiering a new police drama starring Jennifer Lopez.
