Gwen Stefani Reunites With Blake Shelton As Gavin Rossdale Dumps Nanny To Party With Tara Reid: Romance Timeline
Gwen Stefani spent most of the Thanksgiving holiday weekend with her three little boys rather than her new boyfriend, Blake Shelton. The two coaches on The Voice consoled each other after surviving her divorce from Gavin Rossdale and his divorce from Miranda Lambert, going from platonic pals into a confirmed couple. And on Sunday, Gwen left no doubt that although sons Zuma, Kingston, and Apollo will always be the No. 1 guys in her life, she wants to spend as much time as she can with Blake, reported the Daily Mail.
Prior to reuniting with Shelton after Thanksgiving, Stefani attended Mass. Gwen’s religion was one reason that she initially did not want to divorce Rossdale, hoping that she could somehow transform Gavin enough to make her marriage worth continuing. But, as shown by the finalization of the divorce in October, Stefani felt that even her Catholic faith and belief in marriage could not give her reason to continue her union with the man who had cheated on her with the family nanny.
Although Blake headed home to Oklahoma to visit his own family roots for Thanksgiving, the country crooner returned before the start of the work week. Shelton and Stefani were viewed in Los Angeles together with her sons on Sunday.
But despite the fact that the marriage is over, Rossdale continued to sport his wedding ring as he partied over the weekend. Stefani’s ex-husband was spotted with a mystery woman, as well as actress Tara Reid. The trio were at the Hyde nightclub, known for attracting celebrities to its West Hollywood environment.
As for Blake’s ex, Miranda? Lambert is suffering after the divorce, as the Inquisitr reported. The country singer admitted that she has not yet recovered from her split with Shelton.
“I had a great relationship with an amazing man,” Lambert said sadly.
Recovering from Blake isn’t easy, added Miranda. The process may take time and some depressed moments.
“Some of that might mean nights on my porch crying, drinking whiskey, and going, ‘Man, this sucks right now.’ “
But while Lambert seeks to reconcile the fact that her marriage with Shelton is over, Blake and Gwen are enjoying the blossoming of their romance, reported Entertainment Tonight.
Turn back the clock to July of this year, when Shelton and Miranda announced it was the end of their marriage.
“This is not the future we envisioned,” said their official breakup statement. “And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately.”
That happened, and then this happened the following month: Gwen and Gavin split, with an agreement for joint custody of their sons. With regard to Apollo, 1; Zuma, 7; and Kingston, 9; the couple emphasized that they have made a commitment to provide the little boys with a “happy and healthy environment.”
“I haven’t met one coach that’s been on this show that I wouldn’t consider at this point a really good friend,” mused Blake. “Any of the coaches that I’ve worked with on this show I can call at any moment and talk to.”
Gwen agreed that when it came to mixing work with pleasure, The Voice ranked No. 1.
“It’s so amazing!” exclaimed Stefani.
And that led to the shift from just fun to flirting, with Gwen and Blake spotted partying together on Halloween, after which spokespeople for both Shelton and Stefani separately confirm that the two have taken their friendship to the next level and begun a romance.
As for the question of where’s the nanny, Mindy Mann, whose affair with Gwen’s then-husband Rossdale allegedly put the final nail in the coffin that buried their marriage?
Gavin is apparently trying to dump her and improve his public profile by taking a new nanny to lunch along with Apollo, the 20-month-old son he shares with Gwen. Rossdale reportedly has broken it off completely from Mindy, but does not want to make an official comment about the scandalous affair with the family nanny, according to the Daily Mail.
