Rob Kardashian Missing From Family Thanksgiving Photo

Rob Kardashian appears to have missed out on yet another family event. Just weeks after he chose to skip his mother Kris Jenner’s 60th birthday celebration in Los Angeles, the former Keeping Up with the Kardashians star was noticeably absent from the family’s Thanksgiving day photo.

On November 27, Us Weekly reported news of Rob Kardashian’s absence, claiming fans on Instagram shared their comments about the reclusive member of the famous Kardashian/Jenner family, wondering why he was missing yet again.

“Where in the world is Rob Kardashian?” one fan asked.

“I don’t know why but it always breaks my heart when I don’t see Rob Kardashian in family pictures,” added another.

In the photo, Rob Kardashian’s family, including sisters Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian, step-sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner, mom Kris Jenner, and step-father Caitlyn Jenner, as well as the family’s significant others, including Kanye West, Scott Disick, Corey Gamble, and Tyga, were seen.

Rob Kardashian hasn’t shared a thing on Twitter for two weeks, but on Instagram, he recently shared a new photo. However, the photo wasn’t of himself, but rather of three friends, one of whom was Chris Brown. (Oddly, Rob Kardashian was rumored to be dating Brown’s ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, just weeks ago.)

In the caption, Rob Kardashian wrote, “My Brother @spifftv is directing his 1st film get ready!”

For the last few years, Rob Kardashian has been struggling with his weight and depression, which has led him to draw back from the spotlight. In 2012, Rob Kardashian left his role on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and while he has been spoken of in the years since, he has yet to return to the show and is rarely seen publicly.

In 2014, Rob Kardashian infamously skipped the wedding of his sister, Kim Kardashian, and her now-husband, Kanye West. Although Rob Kardashian was seen at the airport prior to the event, he never made it to the ceremony. In photos of his LAX appearance, he looked to be at his heaviest — at least up until that point.

During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live in August 2014, via People Magazine, Kim Kardashian spoke to Andy Cohen about Rob Kardashian’s decision to skip the affair.

“[Rob Kardashian] sent me a long email the morning of, that he was going to leave,” she told Cohen. “There was no fight… We didn’t even have a conversation about it.”

“I said, ‘You know what? This is my day. I’m not going to worry about it. I totally hope [Ron Kardashian]’s okay.’ I totally understand that he wouldn’t want to go and want to see a lot of people if he’s feeling uncomfortable. You can only pray and wish that someone would not miss out on more memories in life, because life is about memories, so fix the problem. I’m definitely a tough-love kind of person. If I don’t like something that is going on in my life, I change it. I don’t sit and complain about it for a year. I’m just a different personality.”

“I try to encourage [Rob Kardashian], and once you just don’t make that change for so long and it’s not happening, I get frustrated. My patience runs out,” she explained.

Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 11 airs Sunday nights at 9 p.m. on the E! Network. So far, there has been no sign of Rob Kardashian, and he is not featured in the Season 11 trailer.
