Airplane Passenger Filmed UFO Fleet Flying Below Jetliner [Video]

An airline passenger has reported sighting and filming at least eight bright light UFOs flying below the right wing of a commercial jetliner during a flight from Vancouver in Canada to Taipei in Taiwan last year.

According to the unnamed witness in a testimony filed as Case 60850 in the archives of the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), he was on an Eva Air flight from Vancouver, Canada, to Taipei, Taiwan, on October 16, 2014, when, at about 5 a.m. — 30 minutes before landing, northeast of Taiwan — he saw a bright light UFO flying below the aircraft on the right wing side.

According to the witness, three more UFOs appeared and flew below the jetliner. Seconds later, more UFOs appeared until there were at least eight identical bright light UFOs hovering beneath the aircraft’s right wing as it approached the airport in Taipei, from northeast of the island of Taiwan.

The astonished passenger pulled out his iPhone and began recording the bizarre sight. The witness reported the sighting and submitted the footage to MUFON on October 23, 2014, seven days after the sighting, according to Open Minds-TV’s Roger Marsh.

The non-profit organization, which investigates UFO sightings, uploaded the footage (see above) to YouTube on November 25.

According to the witness in his statement to MUFON, “I have witnessed 8-10 UFOs flying. I was on the air plane of Eva Airline from Vancouver, Canada to Taipei, Taiwan on October 16. Thirty minutes before landing, I saw a bright light flying under the plane. I saw [a total] of about 8 UFOs flying under the plane… [I filmed] until they asked me to shut down my camera due to landing policy…”

The witness was able to capture three clips. The first, which shows a bright light UFO flying below the commercial jetliner, lasts only five seconds. The second clip, which lasts a few seconds, shows three bright light UFOs flying below the plane. The third and final clip shows at least eight bright light UFOs flying below the plane.

The witness said, “I used slow motion iPhone 5s to film the video until they asked me to shut down my camera due to landing policy. The location is northeast of Taiwan.”

The footage has sparked a debate. Some viewers argued that the “bright light UFOs” were reflections on the airplane window.

“Those are reflections. MUFON, please filter your sightings so we can keep the real ones from the ones we can explain.”

But others disagreed, pointing to various clues in the video they considered evidence that the UFOs were solid physical objects flying over land.

“Great footage, those are obviously NO reflections.”

“Not reflections. Look at the one on the far right. It clearly travels over land.”

“I’d say just a bit strange but I don’t think they were reflections.”

“Not birds, obviously. One of the better videos [I have seen].”

A UFO enthusiast declared in excitement that the UFOs were alien ships with reflective surfaces.

“OMG… Those objects are ships or something similar,” the UFO enthusiast said. “They are so bright because it is sunny and the sun is reflecting on their surface and the camera caught this that way.”

Some viewers offered other alternative explanations. One viewer suggested the lights were from solar panels or other reflective surfaces from the ground. Another viewer suggested they could be small lakes in a mountainous area reflecting light. The viewer claimed he had witnessed a similar sight flying over the Swiss Alps.

“Not UFOs. They are solar panels or other light reflections from the ground.”

“Looks like they are flying over mountains and these bright spots are reflections of small lakes. I remember this by flying over Swiss Alps.”

A few viewers dismissed the video as fake. But most viewers agreed it was authentic.

According to Open Minds-TV’s Roger Marsh, MUFON’s International Director of Investigations, Chuck Reever, closed the case as “unresolved.”
