Lana Del Rey’s Ex Reveals She Dumped Him As James Franco Moves On
Lana Del Rey, whose real name is Lizzy Grant, tends to keep her personal life private. She’s not the type of person to put her life out there on reality TV or on social media. That’s probably why Lana’s ex is revealing how she broke up with him.
Lana Del Rey’s ex-boyfriend is not only revealing that they split, but he’s also revealing as to how their relationship ended. Her ex-boyfriend Barrie-James O’Neill found out how his relationship with the siren ended in an interview. The Kassidy rocker dated Del Rey back in 2011, and then the couple ended their relationship three years later in 2014.
Barrie-James has kept mum about their split up until now. He revealed to the Scottish Sun that he had no idea that Lana dumped him until he read her interview online. His cousin alerted him about the “High By the Beach” singer’s comments via text message.
“[My cousin texted me saying], ‘Sorry that you and the missus have broken up.’….I was like, ‘That’s news to me – where did you hear that?’ And it was on this website. I’m thinking it’s a load of s**t and gossip. But it wasn’t. That’s how I found it.”
“It all happened when I was in London, as she was staying for a few days. But she couldn’t stay as she had to do a big interview in America for her new album which was coming out…She couldn’t say it to my face but there’s no bad blood between us…”
He was talking about her statements in Switzerland’s 20 Minuten newspaper where she revealed that she was no longer with the musician. In that same sad interview, Lana told reporter Tim Jonze that she wishes she was already dead.
“We are currently not together. He is a wonderful person. But there are some things with which he has to deal. I will not explain it in detail. This was hard on our relationship; I no longer felt free. We’ll see how it goes.”
Looks like there’s no luck for Lana Del Rey in the romance department. As previously reported via the Inquisitr, the seductive songstress and her photographer boyfriend Francesco Carrozzini ended their relationship earlier this month after 18 months of dating. Sources said that Del Rey and Carrozzini have gone in different directions. While Del Rey wanted to settle down, her Italian boyfriend wasn’t ready for the same.
The “Honeymoon” singer seemed over the moon about her boyfriend in her October 2015 interview with Billboard. Lana revealed in the magazine how she and Francesco were so similar yet so different at the same time. She also noted how “aggressive” he can be, which is a turn-on for the troubled singer. When asked if having a kid would “chill her out,” she said that she couldn’t have kids with her boyfriend since he doesn’t share the same desire to have children.
“I’ve thought about it. Really thought about it lately because I’ve just turned 30. I’d love having daughters. But I don’t think it’d be a good idea to have kids with someone who wasn’t … on the same page.”
She also addressed her last relationship with O’Neill, hinting that it was borderline toxic at times.
“The last one – before the boyfriend I’m with now – was pretty bad. It wasn’t good to be in it, but it wasn’t good to be out of it, either. He was like a twin. Now a facsimile twin, but a real twin.”
In her interview with Billboard, Lana Del Rey addressed the effect that she has on her men, especially when it comes to her sadistic music. James Franco was one of those men who was fixated by her. Del Rey said that the actor has asked her to star in three films, but none of them were ever produced. Now it looks like James is moving on from his Lana Del Rey infatuation, according to a report via K Pop Starz.
He’s moved on by focusing on his poems and his new show on Hulu. It appears that James may have found a new muse by the name of Emma Watson since he was seen with her face tattooed on his neck. The tattoo turned out to be fake, but his adoration for the actress appears to be very much real.
