Bindi Irwin Won’t Miss This About ‘Dancing With The Stars’

Bindi Irwin took away the Mirrorball trophy this past Tuesday, as she put up a fierce fight for the trophy on Dancing With The Stars. Right from the beginning, she was the front runner and other contestants knew that she was the one to beat. Fans at home loved her, and the judges continued to dish out those perfect scores.

But it sounds like Bindi Irwin never thought of herself as the front runner. She worked hard every week to prepare herself for the dance, and she got involved with the creative progress. Together, Bindi and Derek made quite the team. And despite having a blast on Dancing With The Stars, there are some things Bindi won’t miss.

According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report, Bindi Irwin is now revealing that Dancing With The Stars has changed her life, but there are things on the show she won’t miss. In fact, the physical work and the physical bruises are things she’s ready to leave behind.

Dancing With the Stars is such a special experience that you don’t really think about all the bruises and the skin coming off of your feet like a flesh-eating disease,” Bindi revealed to People earlier this week after winning the Mirrorball trophy.

Irwin has been open and honest about her physical pain while competing on Dancing With The Stars. While filming the show, fans saw her deal with intense knee bruising, ripped up feet, and even toenails falling off. Irwin later revealed that her dedicated boyfriend superglued her toe nails back on her feet so she could continue to dance. Even during the finale, Bindi’s body was struggling through the pain, and she had bruises all up and down her body. Her dance partner, Derek Hough, predicted that Bindi’s body wouldn’t survive another week on the show.

And after doing some press in New York, Bindi and her family were boarding a plane from New York to head back to Australia. Her mother, Terri, and her brother, Bob, have been big supporters for her, and they have been in the audience every week to support her. And now that the experience is over, Bindi is excited to go back to work and be around the animals.

“I’m excited to get back into my khakis and be with the animals again,” Bindi Irwin revealed about her work with the Australia Zoo, according to Wetpaint Entertainment.

Even though Bindi may have gotten plenty of offers to stay in Hollywood and continue her work in front of the camera, she feels a pull to go back to Australia to continue her work with the animals at the Australia Zoo. According to Daily Mail, Irwin was spotted at the airport in New York, getting ready to head back home to Australia.

“It truly has changed my life and I feel like I have grown as a person. Not only have I learnt about the world of sequins and sparkles and high heels, but also to have been blessed enough to work with this beautiful family — I feel like my family has just been extended even more than animals. Now I have this gorgeous family who this experience will forever be a part of my life and will live in my heart,” Bindi previously revealed about the Dancing With The Stars experience on Good Morning America, according to Daily Mail.

Even though Bindi lives on the other side of the world, she and Derek will surely stay friends for a long time.
