Scott, I have been saying for awhile now that 0bama may start a conflict with Iran before the election. Americans as a rule don't like to vote out incumbants during war time. I believe this is why he has pretty much given the finger to Israel….but I digress. The reason for the Iraq war is as old as warfare itself. Fear. After the successful attacks of 9/11, the prospect of a similar attack with Chemical, Biological, or Radiological weaponry was untenable. Incidentally, plenty of chemical weapons were found in Iraq though deliberately ignored by mainstream media sources.
