‘GTA Online’ Black Friday Sale Offers Huge Savings On Tons Of In-Game Items

Hoping to bring some of the annual Black Friday savings to Grand Theft Auto V, Rockstar Games has announced that they will be holding a special in-game sale within GTA Online this week that will give fans the chance to pick up any property or vehicle in the game for discounted prices.

The Rockstar Newswire blog confirmed that every single apartment in Grand Theft Auto Online will be available for 40 percent off on Black Friday, November 27 only. Since players can now own a total of four different properties across Los Santos, the upcoming sale could be a good opportunity for fans to acquire some of the game’s more expensive real estate.

In addition to offering discounts on apartments and garages, GTA Online users will also be able to pick up any vehicle in the game for 25 percent off. These savings even apply to high-end performance cars as well as all military vehicles. Since these items can carry price tags that are in the millions, players can expect to see large sums of cash knocked off any purchase made this Friday.

“This Black Friday, November 27th, take advantage of a pair of GTA Online sales running across all platforms (including PS3 and Xbox 360). To make sure you have the proper pad for entertaining holiday guests, Dynasty 8 is offering 40% off all Apartments. And to ensure you’ve got one of the sleekest collection of sleds in Southern San Andreas, all Vehicles will be 25% off.”

Besides giving gamers access to in-game savings in Grand Theft Auto Online, Rockstar Games is also hosting a sale for all physical goods purchased through their own Rockstar Warehouse this Thanksgiving Weekend. The sale will run from Friday through the end of the week and will offer 40 percent off of any game or merchandise available through the developers own storefront. New items, including clothing and smart phone peripherals, will be added to the store specifically for the sale. The discount even extends to new copies of GTA V or any other Rockstar Games title.

On top of all the other savings, anyone that picks up the PC edition of Grand Theft Auto V from the Rockstar Warehouse this weekend will also receive an extra $500k to spend in GTA Online. Further cash can also be easily added as all Shark Cards for GTA V‘s PC version are also buy-one-get-one-free until Monday morning.

Rockstar Games also has plans to hold a holiday event for those looking to simply enjoy GTA V over the Thanksgiving break. Running this entire weekend, fans will be able to take part in a series of online bonuses that will reward gamers with twice the normal amounts of experience and cash payouts from playing any of the Adversary Modes in GTA Online. This includes the newly added Running Back mode which adds a vehicle-based game of football to Grand Theft Auto V.

“Reap double the GTA$ & RP in all GTA Online Adversary Modes for four straight days, including everything from OG favorites like Come Out To Play and Siege Mentality, to recent releases like Hunting Pack, Slasher and Running Back.”

While the sales and event will be available across all platforms, current-gen versions of GTA Online will have the added access of a limited event playlist that will place users in a simple, one-click queue to try out the affected Adversary Modes, including the new Running Back match. Gamers can even qualify for the bonus rewards while playing just with their friends inside of closed matches.

Will the upcoming GTA Online Black Friday sale give you the chance to pick up a new property or vehicle that you’ve been putting off purchasing?
