Man With 100 Pound Scrotum Refuses Surgery [Photo]

Wesley Warren Junior

Wesley Warren Jr., who made headlines for his condition that has resulted in him having a 100 pound growth on his testicles, has announced that he turned down an offer for free surgery to correct the problem.

As reported by The Las Vegas Review-Journal Warren turned down an offer by the “Dr. Oz Show” to pay for all surgical and further medical costs of the procedure, partially because they wanted exclusive interview rights for the crippled man.

Warren’s condition is caused by a watery buildup that happens around his testicles. He denies that his rejection of the surgery offer is because he wants to retain the fame his condition has brought him.

In speaking about his rejection and the notion of him wanting to stay as he is he said,

“Who would want to live like this? I just don’t want to die during the operation.”

The Las Vegas Review-Journal had previously reported that Warren’s condition prevents him from gaining long term employment and makes using the bathroom extremely difficult. The surgery bring with it some serious risks of complication including death. It also carries the risk that if the doctor’s performing it can’t get the bleeding under control they may have to remove his penis and testicles removed completely.

It has not been easy for Warren since divulging his condition. In 2011 he created a Facebook page to help him raise money for medical expenses but mostly what he got were mocking comments and people trying to make a joke out of his condition.

The Huffington Post is reporting that there have been some very nice people who left comments like:

“Keep praying. God’s going to fix this,”

Keep your head up. You will get the surgery.”

poor guy I couldn't imagine carrying that load every single day. But I can't blame him. The risks are serious indeed.

Every surgery has its risks. They will have extra blood on hand before the surgery. For heavens sake do it you cant live like this.

he doesn't want the surgery so he can continue getting his disablility check every month. do you realize how painful this has got to be? I would risk death to rid myself of the pain associated with it. he must smell awful, there is no way he can clean this thing properly because of its size, also how can he wipe his ass, or even sleep?

Refusing "free" surgery and then to have a FB page for medical expenses makes no sense. Yes, there is a risk during surgery, BUT living with that enormous growth is just insane. Go get the surgery done man, I am sure its got to be better than what your living with…Good luck…

Why is he afraid to die during surgery? What he needs to do is pray, go to church and answer an altar call and give his life to Jesus Christ. Jesus is the Great Physican and can handle anything no matter what! I have went through many surgeries. I just read that a woman had battery acid all in her face and shoved down her throat in Pakistan. No one helped her because she was a Christian. Even the people that took her to the hospital said if they treated her they would burn down the hospital. So they finally got her into a hospital and she was there for a year. God came through. She found a very nice couple in Houston Texas to take her in and she has been getting her surgeries done here and going to college. She has had 31, yes 31 surgeries and she looks beautiful. Trust in Jesus and you will never regret it. Call Dr. OZ and get the surgery man, you will make it! Phil. 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!

So if he doesn't want the money to pay for surgery to correct the problem, why does he need to receive donations? If he doesn't want to die during surgery, does he want to lay there collecting money until he dies of his condition?

I'd be terrified of a surgery that could result with my junk being cut off too…my G-d. It's a no win for this poor dude.

He doesn't "want to die during the operation."? This guy is very STUPID! He would rather carry around a 100 pound 'sack' than take the small risk of dying on the operating table! What a dirtbag, because I can't imagine what happens when he has to be patted down by someone from TSA! Sorry, as much as we might hate those guys, I wouldn't wish THAT job on ANYONE if this guy has to be "hand-searched."
