Nicki Minaj Gets Accused Of Bad Behavior At The American Music Awards

Nicki Minaj has been accused of behaving badly at the 2015 American Music Awards. The “Anaconda” rapper watched Jennifer Lopez perform her hit song with what looked like a stone cold expression. Or, maybe it was just Nicki’s face. She’s also been accused of acting not so nice at the awards show.

A lot of rumors have been circulating about Nicki Minaj’s appearance at the AMAs on Sunday night. Page Six didn’t hold back when an alleged source told the tabloid that Minaj “was in total b***ch mode” at the event. The camera panned to Minaj as host Jennifer Lopez opened with a dance medley that included Minaj’s hit song “Anaconda.” Minaj’s expressionless face made some fans think that she was throwing shade at the former booty queen.

But the inside source told Page Six that while other celebrities were mingling and having fun during the breaks, Nicki stayed in her seat “looking miserable and rolling her eyes.” One fan “approached her to sign a CD,” to which she allegedly said, “Why? So you can sell it on eBay?” The insider added that Nicki “was downright antisocial and rude.”

Meanwhile, another report claims that Nicki Minaj looked a little annoyed when she accepted her award for Best Rap/Hip-Hop Artist. According to Hollywood Life, the 22-year-old pop star looked as if she wanted to be “anywhere else than at the American Music Awards.” Minaj was fine when she accepted her award for Best Rap Artist, but she looked downright mad when she walked off the stage. According to the celebrity gossip blog, Minaj rolled her eyes, flipped her hair, and quickly stormed off the stage. Watch the video for yourself below.

It’s probably because she didn’t like that her acceptance speech was cut short by the show’s producers. Nick took to Twitter to also give a shout to Ariana Grande.

She tweeted, “I wanted to thank Ariana for coming thru @ the last minute for me. The AMA’s has a timer this year. No long speeches. Lol #ThePinkprint”

While Nicki Minaj may have seemed a little downcast at the AMAs, her fiance, Meek Mill, was all smiles. He was caught staring at her cleavage in her low-cut pale pink sequin gown. Nicki posted the photo on her Instagram to call him out on it. The photo didn’t need a caption because it speaks for itself. Nicki looks attentive at the stage as Meek catches a glimpse down her cleavage.

Nicki Minaj took to Instagram to deny the rumors that she was in a bad mood on Sunday night. She shared a photo of herself smiling brightly and sitting next to her fiance Meek Mill.

Minaj simply captioned the photo, “Mood.”

Minaj also denies that she was throwing shade at J.Lo at the award show. She also took to Twitter to address those rumors of an apparent diva showdown.

Minaj tweeted, “lol says what all? I’m looking at my own face on the screen when I’m looking to the right. I turn Bak & look @ her.”

This isn’t the first time that Nicki has been accused of her bad behavior at a televised event. At the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, she put Miley Cyrus on blast for the singer’s comments about the rapper in the New York Times. That’s when Nicki spat the infamous line, “Miley, what’s good?” The “Wrecking Ball” singer obviously appeared stunned when Nicki called her out, but she tried her best to move past the awkward situation.

The reason why Nicki Minaj got called out for her behavior at the award show is because she’s a woman. If a man had a stone cold expression on his face all night, he would not get called out for it. Maybe Minaj was just giving her best “resting b***h face” that night.

What are your thoughts on Nicki Minaj’s behavior at the American Music Awards? Do you think she was shading Jennifer Lopez or looking miserable? Do you think the media is just overreacting? Share your thoughts below in the comments section.
