Lily Allen claims music pirates killing new talent

Lily Allen, not exactly well known for her mental capacity, has attacked fans that spend millions of seeing her perform live, but don’t pay for her music online.
According to Allen, internet piracy is depriving the music industry of new talent.
“If what the consumer wants is good music, then they are going to have to start paying for it.” says Allen. “The music industry is run by a bunch of fucking idiots and if you’re giving those people less money they are going to invest in bands that aren’t very good. The more money there is in the industry, the more they are going to have to invest in quality bands.”
That makes pure sense: music labels who make bad decisions make better decisions with more money, despite them already rolling in billions. Got that
“There are people really struggling to make their way, they’re getting dropped much quicker, not being given the opportunity to make second albums” Allen continued with her mental capacity at full strength. “The only people responsible are those who are downloading music illegally, because there is no money going towards the bands anymore.”
For our next item, Allen will blame space aliens for the state of the British economy.

Lily Allen expressed her opinion on My Space ( Last year) While she did say that record companies were not being run right, she certainly didn't say all of this. The comments are from Duncan Riley”s imagination.

But didn't Lilly Allen also get her big break by posting her own music on MySpace?!?!?!

It's so easy to judge when you're not in the industry. Music pirating has been a serious issue for musicians. Instead of trashing someone you don't know do something to be a part of the solution,

Yes, it is very easy to judge when you are not a musician, because it's us that ends up getting hurt by uninformed statements like these.
The music industry still has an antiquated view on the market and is very slowly changing tack towards a good heading – however it requires that people in the industry take interest in the counter arguments to copyright and pay very close attention to free business models.
Currently I am working on a website for new and small musicians to promote themselves to the UK, in the hope that it will drive the market to a better solution. I do not condone breaking the law, but I do belive the law is unethical and often blatantly in conflict with the European Convention on Human Rights and UK Human Rights. These laws are meant to protect the people, when the people start complaining it’s time to start taking note and trying to understand the issue, not just shouting and screaming that you want more money.
