Kristen Stewart has sure come a long way since starring alongside Jodi Foster in Panic Room. The star of The Twilight Franchise has received much success with the vampire series, and recent praise for her depiction of Snow White in Snow White and the Huntsman, so it’s no surprise that Stewart was named the highest paying actress.
According to a study done by Forbes magazine, the 22-year-old has made some serious bank in the last year in the film industry. It is said that between the Twilight series, and her new role as Snow White, the actress out earned Cameron Diaz, with $34.5 million. However, Diaz isn’t crying, the happy-go-lucky starlet who has made bank on the Shrek series, earned a nice chunk of change from Bad Teacher.
Those who Stewart has topped include some heavyweight hitters in the industry, including Oscar winner Sandra Bullock, who took in $25 million, Angelina Jolie with $20 million, Stewart’s Snow White costar, Charlize Theron with $18 million, Julia Roberts who’s on the list every year with $16 million, Sarah Jessica Parker with $15 million, Meryl Streep with $12 million, newcomer to the list Kristen Wiig, who saw success with Bridesmaids with $12 million, and lastly Jennifer Aniston who rounded out the list of 10 with $11 million.
This isn’t the first list that Kristen Stewart has topped on Forbes. Last December Forbes ran a list called “Bucket List” which ran some of the best actresses in the business and Stewart topped that one too.
Last year Stewart talked to Vogue magazine about the object of money in her career, telling the magazine, “Any time I hear that somebody’s really rich, the first question is. ‘Do you do anything with it? Or do you, like, chill? You just sit on it?”
