Miranda Lambert Is ‘Excited’ About Life After Her Divorce From Blake Shelton

Miranda Lambert’s ex-husband, Blake Shelton, has been making headlines like crazy since going public with his new romance with Gwen Stefani, his co-star on The Voice. Meanwhile, Miranda Lambert has been keeping a low profile since she attended the Country Music Awards in Nashville earlier this month.

Miranda Lambert is “excited to start the new chapter in her life,” a source revealed to E! News on November 23.

During her first concert since her split from Shelton in July, Miranda Lambert wore ripped jeans and a rhinestone-studded Patty Loveless T-shirt, and according to an E! News source, Miranda Lambert “laughed, told jokes, and let her hair down a bit.”

“I’ve been living off caffeine and sad songs lately. So, we’re going to drink some caffeine and play a sad song,” Miranda Lambert reportedly told fans before singing “Dear Diamond.”

Miranda Lambert was also recently honored with a star on Nashville’s Music City Walk of Fame.

“I feel like a bigger part of Nashville than I ever have,” Miranda Lambert said during the ceremony. “I lived here 10 years ago, when I was just getting off of Nashville Star. Nashville Star was kind of like my college. I had never really left Texas that much until the TV show. I moved back home after the show. I lived in Nashville just long enough to make a record.”

After the record was complete, Miranda Lambert “got scared and ran back to mom. And then went on the road, and I was on the road for the last 10 years,” E! News’ source revealed.

During the Music City Walk of Fame ceremony, Miranda Lambert wore big, black sunglasses and an elegant one-piece pantsuit, and according to an eyewitness, she looked “trim and fit.”

“I’ve been spending a lot of time here in the last three or four months. I moved back here and never felt more at home,” Miranda Lambert continued of Nashville. “I’ve never felt more inspired. I’ve listened to live music or written music every single day since I’ve been here, for the whole summer basically. And I’ve never felt more ready to make music and learn from music –learn from musicians and songwriters.”

As Miranda Lambert stays focused on her music and upcoming tour with Sam Hunt, E! News’ source claimed the singer is excited for the holidays and is planning to spend tons of time with those close to her.

“Her music, friends and family is what makes her feel best at this point in her life,” the insider said.

While Miranda Lambert’s professional career takes center stage in her life, the same can’t be said for her ex-husband, who continues to be involved in a media circus surrounding his relationship with Stefani, as well as her divorce from Gavin Rossdale, who reportedly cheated on her for three years during their 13-year marriage.

On November 11, Us Weekly reported news of Rossdale’s alleged infidelity with his former nanny, Mindy Mann. According to the report, Stefani caught Rossdale communicating with Mann on the family’s iPad. In incriminating messages between the pair, they had allegedly planned to meet for sex. While Rossdale initially denied having a relationship with Mann, the former nanny was fired immediately, and several months later, Rossdale was said to have admitted to cheating.

Miranda Lambert’s divorce from Shelton was announced in July, whereas the divorce of Stefani and Rossdale was announced just weeks later in August. Because of the timing of each couple’s split, several rumors have been started.
