The Daily Mail notes how Kate relayed that she is looking forward to celebrating their first Christmas as a family of four, while she and William stopped into the Vale of Clwyd Mind Men’s facility in Northern Wales. This visit marks the final leg of the royals’ Wales tour.

During the visit, Kate was asked about the family’s plans and Kate relayed that George is beginning to “talk about Christmas and Princess Charlotte is getting on well with her ‘noisy’ big brother.” Although Kate shared that she looks forward to the festive season with her hubby and little ones, she admits that the planning has yet to begin. The Mail recounts the Duchess’ words on her planning and her tykes.

“I haven’t started yet. [George and Charlotte] are doing really well, thanks. Charlotte is getting bigger.”

The royal couple spent their time visiting with a few of the members at the center, one including Mr. Maddocks, who joined a year ago after being widowed. The elderly and friendly man offered Kate and William a gift he had made earlier at the center, to take home to William’s “Grandma.”

The Duke laughed and responded spiritedly.

“Well we have got lots of Christmas gifts to give out, so maybe.”

“Every day in the UK 13 men take their own life. We have seen here the power of friendship and shared understanding and being able to bring people together. [Kate and William] are shining a light on the millions of people who experience mental health problems and people who are struggling to get the right kind of support.”
