Survivor Series Match Card For 2015

The Survivor Series match card has been revealed, according to WWE.

Tyler Breeze vs Dolph Ziggler

Breeze is the latest performer to be promoted from NXT to the main roster in WWE, so it would make a lot of sense for management to want to put him in a featured spot. That is why he is most likely to be the opener on the Survivor Series match card. It is also most likely the reason why the front office paired him with Ziggler, a great performer that has a knack for making his opponents look great and can withstand a loss.

Alberto Del Rio vs Roman Reigns

It comes as little surprise that Del Rio and Reigns made it to the semifinals of the WWE Heavyweight Championship tournament. The two of them have more credibility than the majority of guys that were contestants. Since Reigns is heavily rumored for a major push, the smart bet would be that he defeats the former world heavyweight champion at Survivor Series to advance to the finals.

Dean Ambrose vs Kevin Owens

Ambrose is one of the most popular performers in WWE. Owens has gained quite the following after beat John Cena. It makes all the sense in the world that they are on the Survivor Series match card. Only one of them can advance in the tournament, and it is a coin toss between the two. Ambrose has the slight edge because his on screen relationship with Reigns would make for a compelling finals match.

Five on Five Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match

It never feels right whenever the Survivor Series does not have the gimmick match that made it famous in the first place. WWE hasn’t bothered to announce the 10 men that will be competing in the match, but Sheamus and Kalisto both have informed fans through social media that they are going to be on the two separate teams.

New Day (Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston and Big E. Langston) are most likely going to be involved due to their massive popularity. Big Show is another candidate since management knows that he is reliable. Cesaro is really popular with the audience, so he is a candidate, despite working with a shoulder injury. The Usos and Dudley Boyz are also candidates as well.

Paige vs Charlotte

The two divas getting a spot on the Survivor Series match card this year are Paige and Charlotte. The two of them have been the talk of the internet wrestling community due to the controversial segment that they did on Monday Night Raw where Paige mentions Reid Flair, the deceased brother of Charlotte and son of the legendary “Nature Boy” Ric Flair.

Kane & Undertaker vs Bray Wyatt & Braun Strowman

Even though the WWE Heavyweight Championship will be won by either Dean Ambrose, Kevin Owens, Alberto Del Rio, or Roman Reigns tonight, the headline match is the one featuring Undertaker and Kane taking on Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman. The Survivor Series match card would not be as much of a draw without these guys.

The match is heavily anticipated because this could be the moment where WWE finally springboards Wyatt into the main event scene and have him chase the heavyweight championship. It is also where they are expected to push Strowman as a legitimate monster, so he could be utilized during a high impact segment at the Survivor Series.

The Survivor Series match card is more interesting than normal.
