Did Kylie Jenner And Tyga Break Up At All?

If you are a fan of Kylie Jenner and can’t figure out if you fell for a vicious rumor or witnessed the shortest break up in history, don’t worry, you are not alone. Rumors that Kylie Jenner and Tyga’s May-December romance had reached the end of its days are nothing new. In fact, they started before the couple officially revealed that they were a couple. But this most recent split had a note of finality to it.

On Friday, November 20, multiple outlets reported that Tyga and Kylie Jenner’s year-long relationship imploded after Kylie found something on his computer that suggested he had been unfaithful to her. Details about what Kylie found and who Tyga allegedly cheated on her with are unavailable, but everyone seems to agree that Kylie gave Tyga his walking papers sometime on Thursday.

Why do people assume the couple split? Because Kylie Jenner didn’t attend Tyga’s birthday festivities. In fact, neither Kylie Jenner nor any of her famous family members even acknowledged Tyga’s birthday. While that might not seem like a big deal, remember that few people take birthdays as seriously as the Kardashian-Jenner clan. Each Kardashian-Jenner family member’s birthday is marked by a flurry of social media well wishes from the other members. Kris Jenner marked her 60th birthday with a lavish Roaring 20s-themed party. Between family dinners, family parties, gatherings with friends, and a whirlwind vacation, Kylie’s 18th birthday celebrations took nearly two weeks.

Even notorious, rumor busting website Gossip Cop marked the rumor that Kylie and Tyga had broken up as “real,” though they couldn’t identify the source or cause of the alleged break up. According to TMZ, the producers of this weekend’s American Music Awards also took the break up rumors seriously. Reportedly, the producers of the American Music Awards were scrambling on Friday to change the seating arrangements so that Kylie Jenner and Tyga don’t sit anywhere near one another. That basically confirms the rumored break up, right? Well, not exactly.

In true Kardashian fashion, Kylie used her social media accounts to silence rumors of her split with Tyga. As seen in the photo, Kylie is snuggled in bed with a man who appears to be Tyga. Did Kylie and Tyga already get back together, or is the social media savvy Jenner just trying to throw people off until she’s had time to process the break up?

As with everything about the Kardashian-Jenner family, it’s difficult to say. Tyga and Kylie Jenner were both apparently in Los Angeles over the weekend, but they didn’t seem to spend any time together. Kylie spent a quiet evening at home celebrating Thanksgiving with her friends. Tyga, meanwhile, attended Diddy’s swanky 46th birthday bash.

Interestingly, while Kylie Jenner either wasn’t invited to the party or skipped it, according to TMZ, Kylie’s sisters, Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner, both attended Diddy’s fancy birthday bash. So far, there’s been no word on whether Kourtney or Kendall had words with Tyga over his treatment of Kylie.

Unfortunately for fans eager to know their favorite reality star’s relationship status, it may be at least a few more days before anyone other than Kylie and Tyga knows for sure whether they are still together. According to People Magazine, Kylie admitted that she deliberately avoids talking too much about her relationships.

“I do think that if you let people in too deep, it gets hard,” she said. Your fans get too invested, and then they know when you break up and make up. I don’t want people to know every time we fight or break up, so I’d rather keep some things private.”

For now, at least, Kylie Jenner seems determined to keep things as private as possible.
