‘Sister Wives’: Meri Brown’s Catfish Swears They Had Sex, Shares ‘Evidence’

Sister Wives star Meri Brown opens up about her catfish drama in a new sneak peek for the upcoming Sister Wives tell-all special, and her catfish has already issued a response to what she says in the clip.

During the last episode of Sister Wives, Meri Brown came clean about engaging in an online relationship with someone she thought was a man. However, Meri’s love interest turned out to be a lesbian who was scamming the Sister Wives star by pretending to be a man. People recently shared a sneak peek of Sunday night’s Sister Wives tell-all special, and it shows Meri Brown trying to set the record straight about her love affair with a hoaxer. Meri says that she never met her catfish in person, and there was no physical relationship.

“The pictures that he sent to me were of an actor,” the Sister Wives star reveals. Meri keeps referring to her catfish as a “he,” even though it’s already been established that she was being fooled by a female hoaxer.

Meri does admit that she met the catfish’s female friend in person. As the Inquisitr previously reported, this “friend” was actually the catfish herself. Jackie Overton is a prolific catfish who has created numerous identities over the years, and she used two of them to trick Meri. One of them was a good-looking businessman named Sam, and the other was Sam’s friend/assistant, a woman named Lindsay. Jackie Overton used photos of herself when posing as Lindsay, so she was able to meet Meri Brown in person after establishing a friendly relationship with the Sister Wives star.

“There would be times when I would be talking to him on the phone, and he would have a temper tantrum of sorts and hang up the phone,” Meri says in the Sister Wives tell-all sneak peek. “Then I’d get calls from her saying, ‘You better fix this. You better call. You better call and tell him how much you love him.'”

Meri Brown’s catfish has a blog called Not Batman Yet, and she’s using it to keep up the charade that she’s actually a man named Sam Cooper. In one of her recent posts, she responded to the Sister Wives sneak peek by claiming that “Sam” and Meri did have a physical relationship, and she tries to provide evidence of their intimacy in the form of voicemails and text messages.

“The first time we had sex was March 6, 2015,” the catfish writes. “The next day we did a Disney trip. Here are the texts from that day that prove we had been intimate the night before.”

However, the text messages just show Meri and “Sam” talking about how they want to kiss each other and be with each other — Meri was seemingly fantasizing about a physical relationship, not actually having one. The Sister Wives star and her sexting buddy were also planning to meet up at Disneyland. However, according to All About the Tea, “Sam” didn’t show at the “happiest place on earth,” and he made up an excuse as to why he had to miss the meeting. Instead, Meri came face-to-face with catfish Jackie Overton. Jackie was posing as Lindsay. There are even photos that show the Sister Wives star posing with her catfish.

In the aforementioned blog post, the catfish continues to insist that she and the Sister Wives star had a physical, sexual relationship.

“We had sex,” Jackie a.k.a. Sam wrote. “It was very nice. We had been having sex for weeks at this point. Afterwards we talked and laughed at how sweaty and messed up her hair was. We talked and she said something that I felt she was comparing me to him. I got pissed and left. So she started leaving me voicemails to explain what she meant.”

There are two lines from the voicemails that almost make it sound like Meri had sex with someone. However, it’s likely that the Sister Wives star was still play-acting by sexting “Sam” or perhaps having phone sex with the catfish.

“My gosh I was not saying that being intimate with you was my worst, it’s my hair. It’s a mop,” the Sister Wives star says in one voicemail message.

Perhaps Meri was complaining about her hair because Sam was asking for a photo or video.

“Laying here with you is very vulnerable,” Meri says in another voicemail. “With, especially with my hair looking a mess. That’s all I was saying. All I was saying. Please don’t try to read anything else into it. Being with you is very special to me.”

The Sister Wives star potentially wasn’t physically lying in bed with “Sam,” she was most likely communicating with him by phone. There are no photos or videos that show Meri with a man who is not her “spiritual husband” Kody Brown, and there are no photos of “Sam” on the Not Batman Yet website. This is because the man the Sister Wives star thought she was talking to simply doesn’t exist.

The Sister Wives tell-all special airs on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on TLC. Do you think Meri Brown will share the whole story about her catfish?
