Louis Tomlinson Baby Talk Still ‘Off-Limits’ For Interviews?

One Direction star Louis Tomlinson and his band-mates are in the midst of a whirl of publicity appearances. Doubtless, and understandably, Tomlinson would like interview questions to focus on the release of One Direction’s Made In The A.M. album release. After all, Tomlinson and band-mates Harry Styles, Liam Payne, and Niall Horan have just released their first album as a foursome.

The latest offering from One Direction has hit No 1 in the U.K. and Ireland and according to the Official Charts Company it is the U.K.’s fastest selling album of the year to date. Made In The A.M. also gives Louis and his pals their fourth No. 1 album. As the week has progressed, Tomlinson has seemed happy to chat about a wide variety of subjects, but to the immense frustration of One Direction fans, two of the conversations remain strictly off-limits. Both topics relate directly to Louis.

Earlier this month, it was reported in Inquisitr that One Direction were furious that reports in the Sun newspaper claimed that Tomlinson and Harry Styles were barely on speaking terms. As a result Tomlinson gave an interview to the Sun aiming to set the record straight. The interviewer claimed that Tomlinson had banned any questions about his forthcoming fatherhood. It was claimed that Tomlinson’s representatives warned that the interview would be ended immediately should any questions about Louis’ baby be asked.

During the course of this week, One Direction have given a huge number of interviews on both sides of the Atlantic. Tomlinson has talked about his use of cannabis, his relationship with former band-mate Zayn Malik and having sex on aircraft. The one topic that has remained taboo is Louis baby and his relationship with baby mama Briana Jungwirth.

According to the Evening Standard Tomlinson looked awkward when Jonathan Ross asked about his relationship with Malik. Louis admitted that Zayn was unhappy as a member of One Direction. In Louis view the pressure got “too much” for Malik.

“We all kind of noticed that he wasn’t thoroughly enjoying it, and we were. It can be an intense job at times and I think it got a little bit too much for him, and he wanted to be in a different place, and that’s fair enough. You know, he’s gone his own way now, so fair do’s.”

According to the Huffington Post, Ross also probed Tomlinson about Malik’s less than complimentary comments about One Direction earlier in the week. As reported in the Inquisitr Malik claimed that he wanted to quit One Direction from the start and said he wouldn’t listen to their music. Tomlinson put these comments down to Zayn wanting to distance himself from One Direction.

For One Direction fans, the most worrying aspect of the Jonathan Ross interview will be the fact that Tomlinson and the rest of 1D flatly refuse to be drawn on when or even if they will reunite. Of course, Louis and the others have reassured fans time and again that they will reunite but there are clearly no firm plans in place for this to happen.

“I think the point of the break is that it’s going to be a break and we’re going to have some time off with no pressure.”

Tomlinson has appeared in interviews with Jimmy Kimmel and Ellen DeGeneres amongst others this week. Whilst Malik was a frequent topic and Harry Styles even admitted to having sex with a fan not a single question has been asked about Tomlinson’s baby. There can be little doubt that Tomlinson has placed that topic firmly off the agenda.

Tomlinson has consistently refused to talk about the baby since news broke that Briana Jungwirth was having Louis’ child. Tomlinson’s avoidance of the topic has given rise to a host of internet rumors and by refusing to discuss the matter Louis’ fans are wondering what he has to hide?
