Gwen Stefani Didn’t Even Know Who Blake Shelton Was ‘Til He Joined ‘The Voice’
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton just recently started dating and things are heating up between the two. The thing is that Gwen is now admitting she didn’t even know who Blake Shelton was before he joined The Voice. Gwen obviously doesn’t listen to country music, but now Gwen knows exactly who Blake is and the two are even dating. Taste of Country shared that while on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Gwen admitted a few things about Blake, but they didn’t talk about the two dating. Ellen did show a picture of them with Gwen sitting on Blake’s lap and tease her just a bit, but they avoided the subject.

Ellen did have the nerve to ask Gwen if Blake is a good kisser, but she did avoid answering that one. While talking about Blake Shelton, Gwen shared that Blake is a musical genius and even knows every 80s song out there. Gwen then shared that she didn’t know Blake.
“I didn’t even know who he was before I was on the show. Before I was on The Voice I’d never heard of him before … I’m an O.C. girl, like what would I know?”
Gwen Stefani has been in music for a while as the lead singer of No Doubt and then also having a solo career. The thing is she would never have any reason to listen to country music until joining The Voice and working with all of these different artists. Gwen recently was divorced from singer Gavin Rossdale and Blake Shelton got a divorce from fellow country singer Miranda Lambert. Gwen and Blake’s divorces happening at the same time could be exactly why they ended up together after leaning on each other during their time of need. Gwen’s divorce was a little bit messy, but Blake had a prenup and things went really fast for him.

E! Online shared that Gwen Stefani seems like she can’t get enough of Blake Shelton now that she knows who he is though. The two had to spend some time alone this past weekend. Of course, Gwen and Blake are together a lot while they are on The Voice, but when the show isn’t airing Blake lives in Oklahoma and Gwen has three boys to take care of at home. Rumors have been flying that they might be spending Thanksgiving together, but neither one of them have confirmed it.
Gwen Stefani was seen getting on an airplane, and of course, Blake wasn’t with her, but he was in his own way. Gwen had him on her phone on Facetime. Gwen was seen talking to him, showing him the plane and also letting the friend that was with her talk to Blake for a second. Gwen and Blake are doing a great job of keeping in touch when they are not together. The two do seem very happy together and a friend of Gwen’s recently spoke out about how happy she is with him.
“Many of Gwen’s friends love how happy she has been over these past few months, and they believe she found love again. The media craze just annoys her because of the way it can affect kids in situations like this, but she has been giving them unconditional love and talking to them.”
