Mena Suvari rocked a little black dress to the Beverly Hills Hotel’s 100th-anniversary party, and her outfit was immediately the talk of the venue – how did it work, exactly?
Indeed, the Maria Lucia Hohan dress had the detectives at the Ministry of Gossip baffled, until they blew the shots up to Large-O-Vision.
And lo, the mystery of Suvari’s attire was solved: the actress had sheer, nude panels wrapped around her sides, along with a bunch of dress hardware that I shan’t pretend to understand.
This LBD retails for roughly $630, and Suvari revealed on Twitter that it was the creation of stylist Taylor Jacobson.
If guests dragged their eyes away from Mena Suvari’s dress long enough, they will have noticed Monday night’s swanky shindig was also attended by the likes of Warren Beatty, songwriter Diane Warren, Debbie Reynolds and the night’s host, Brett Ratner. Prince reportedly popped in for a little while, and the slebs drank from mini bottles of Moet as they enjoyed a Mary J. Blige performance.
The evening was dedicated to supporting the Motion Picture & Television Fund and the American Comedy Fund.
