Watch Ohio State Vs. Michigan State Football Live Online: Start Time, Streaming Video For Saturday’s Big Ten Showdown

Fans can watch the Ohio State vs. Michigan State football game live online and see what could be the most important game left in college football’s regular season.

The game kicks off at 3:30 ET on Saturday, with coverage on ABC. The game is also available for live streaming for those who can’t make it to a television (link to live video can be found below).

The Buckeyes come into the game defending their 23-game winning streak, in what is the start of their most difficult stretch of the regular season. Ohio State hosts No. 9 Michigan State this week before traveling to Ann Arbor to take on the No. 14 ranked Michigan Wolverines next week.

It’s a stretch that will likely determine the postseason fate for Ohio State, which currently sits at No. 3 in the College Football Playoff rankings. No. 5 Iowa, also undefeated at 10-0, is facing a woeful Purdue team earlier in the day on Saturday. A loss from Ohio State could help catapult Iowa into the playoff standings and drop the Buckeyes out.

The importance of Saturday’s game isn’t lost on the Ohio State players.

“We haven’t really been tested,” left tackle Taylor Decker told ESPN. “This is a huge gauge for us going into some of the biggest games at the end of the season, because this is the biggest game we’ve played yet this season.

“We haven’t even played our best yet,” Decker added. “We have to focus on that and not what people are talking about.”

Fans who watch the Ohio State vs. Michigan State football game live online will see if the Buckeyes can get their offense out of first gear. The team has struggled to move the ball, relying heavily on Heisman Trophy candidate Ezekiel Elliott as the passing game has struggled.

“We know there are issues,” coach Urban Meyer said. “This is not a perfect team. I’ve never seen a perfect team. As a matter of fact, we’ve got a long way to go. There are certain areas we’re not playing very good, and that’s why we practice all the time.”

For the Buckeyes, struggles look a lot different than other teams. Despite lack of stability in the passing game, the team still ranks No. 1 in the Big Ten in scoring offense, with an average of 36.4 points a game. And, the Ohio State defense is No. 2 in the league, giving up just 13.8 points per game.

Michigan State isn’t taking the game lightly. Coach Mike Dantonio said it will take a near-perfect effort to knock off the Buckeyes, who now have the longest regular season winning streak in NCAA history at 30 games.

“I think we have the talent to play with the top teams in the country,” Dantonio told MLive.com.

“I don’t think we have played our best game yet, where we’re hitting on all cylinders,” Dantonio added. “We have to play our best game on Saturday if we’re going to be successful, but we’re very capable.”

Michigan State still has a chance of making the College Football Tournament, but it would need to start with a win today and some help from at least one of the other teams currently occupying the four spots.
